Wendy's — Restaurant in Smiths Grove

The food is usually good with the exception of the fries, every single time. The wait for drive through is always kind of long, and they never ask people to pull forward while waiting for food to get other customers through the line. Orders are usually correct, and the employees are always friendly. I am editing the 4 stars to 3 due to the service I received last night. I had put in a mobile order, which doesn't mean the order will be correct, or even complete, when the employees hand you your bags out the driven thru window. Last night the boy at the first window, Jaiden, somehow charged three different totals to my debit card, I expected two charges because I added an item when I got there. I gave him my card to pay for the item and he handed it back to me, then he says, "HOLD UP, I need your card again." "HOLD UP???" Not appropriate response to a customer, at all. He seemed like he might have been new at the job, so I thought he just made a mistake on the register, realized it, and fixed it when he asked for my card. I'm pretty certain I ended up paying for the person's food that was behind me when I checked my financial transactions today. I really wasn't left with a good impression of young Jaiden, I don't believe customer service work is the area he needs to work in. Me my daughter my husband and my grandbabies went into the Smiths Grove Wendy's Thursday or Friday night can't remember exactly which night it was there were only two people in the whole restaurant working with that being said the two people that were there were working very hard to get the orders out quickly to the people in the lobby and to the people in drive they both worked excellent together as far as I could see the woman that was there was running around doing drive-through front counter and bagging food that lady was running around getting everything together on trays or in bags for drive-thru in a timely manner her and the other guy that was there did an excellent job our food came out quick hot and while doing all this running around they still had smiles on their faces and greeted us very friendly they definitely want to say thank you very much to those two people I did not catch his name he was in the kitchen making sandwiches and dropping fries and all that other stuff but the woman's name was cherie she was very polite and courteous and very welcoming The moment we walked into the store she said hi welcome to Wendy's I'll be right with you I am absolutely amazed how those two ran the store that night with just two of them in the store. This was Wendy's at Smith Grove. I was towing a pontoon boat that I was concerned that it may not go under the canopy at the drive thru. Then we decided to do an online order. We made our purchase and was directed to the counter to pick it up. After finding all doors locked they had a phone # to call. Tried calling 3 or 4 times with no answer. Not even voice mail. My wife walked to the drive thru window and explained our situation. Finally after not so friendly conversation she was given our meals. If we hadn't paid by credit card I would have just left and went down the street to McDonald's. My son was with us and is allergic to beef so we all ordered chicken sandwiche combos and a frosty. Our meals consisted of three hamburgers, 2 combos and no frosty. By this time we were so disgusted we left and our son had no lunch until we were able to get some chicken to eat.
