Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Smithville

Well to start off with I've not been a huge fan of Pizza Hut for some time now. At least since right before the pandemic. Their price hikes and penny pinching with toppings due to the fact that they were the only pizza place in town made them insufferable.

Once they closed their dining room when the pandemic hit and everyone stayed home I was hoping It would give them a chance to reevaluate their position here. Especially given the fact that we got a domino's a few years ago.

Today I ordered some pasta and pizza and set it for delivery (due in fact to then offering delivery) and was given a call by the store that they had no drivers. I understand things are tough all around and keeping hard workers has become an ever increasing burden these days but sheesh.

Upon finding out that I needed to go and pick it up I decided that I would step inside the store due to it being so hot outside and that they let people come in to get their orders now. Not only did I stand at the counter for well over 10 minutes without a soul coming out to greet me but I also heard the phone ring and them screaming we're closed and laugh after letting the phone stop ringing.

I dont expect much from this particular location anymore but this was a whole brand new level of low. Highly unprofessional and very immature.

The only reason they got 2 stars is because I got my whole order and they didn't forget anything.

Gonna do my very best to avoid this place...

It's a sad day when the military is denied any type of respect in our country. Tonight I witnessed a customer be denied a military discount at this store and it not only made the customer upset but myself as well. The fact that you can not show some type of respect and gratitude to the men and women and the families that serve and give their lives to this country daily in order to protect our country and citizens is unbelievable. I am unsure as to the reasoning behind this decision as I am aware that they have given these discounts before as a friend of mine has received it multiple times. The manager would not even come out to explain the decision. The issue is not about the money I am sure that the discount would not have been a huge savings and would not have cost the store any type of loss, it is all the fact that the respect and gratitude was not given. The least that can be done for the service of our military and their families is to offer a small discount to say thank you. The customer actually paid for the pizza and then left without her food, so that shows that the issue was definitely not money related, just principal! I applaud her on her actions and I agree with her 100%. Shame on you Pizza Hut, get your priorities straight. Give thanks where it is needed. I will not be a customer any longer due to the disrespect shown. God Bless our troops and I thank them for...

I normally don't like to do reviews. But in this case I felt like I must. I am giving 1 star only because I can't give zero stars. My service experience was the same as Taylor Phelphs, hers was 9 months ago. In 9 months, nothing has changed!!! 1st they ignored us when we were standing at the front podium waiting to be seated. No other people were waiting at the time. I finally had to interrupt personal conversations between 3 employees and ask if we could be seated. When we were seated, the attitude of our waitress was atrocious. Not a word of kindness. She acted as if it was a chore to wait on us. Once the food was finally brought out. We were then totally ignored. We had to ask for drink refills. We waited and waited after our food was finished hoping to ask for ''to go boxes" for our leftovers and the waitress never came. We had to flag her down. When she brought the boxes, she practically tossed them on the table and left. Not asking once if there was anything else we needed. We then waited and waited for the bill, which she never brought to our table. We finally had to go to the front counter and tell the cashier we needed our bill!! This will definitely be the last time we go there! It will be Digiorno...
