My family and I went to Chago’s the first weekend they were open. The food was great! Service was not good but it was opening weekend so I completely understood. Tonight I decided to take my 2 year old and 5 year old. We got there about 6:30 and were told it would be about 5 minutes for a table. Not a big deal. Two parties came in after us and were sat before us. One group had 3 people in it like mine and the other has three adults and what appeared to be an infant. Not sure why they were sat first. After getting a table we never received any service. After about 12 minutes an young man approached and asked if anyone had taken our drink order. I said no. He said he would be right back. 5 minutes passed and he had not come back. My 5 year old really needed to use the restroom so I gathered our belongings and on the way to the restroom the young man approached us and asks if we were ready to order. I told him no, my daughter needs to use the restroom and then we are leaving. He turned away from me and said “okay”. After we used the restroom my children and I were walking past the bar to get out and a server turned around and elbowed my daughter in the side of the head. I said excuse us. He just stood there. After kneeling down and checking on my daughter we started to walk off and he yelled at my back “sorry ma’am”. I was furious. He treated us as if my daughter was in the way. He should pay attention to what he is doing. Look before walking out in front of people. I would have asked for a manager on my way out but there was no one at the front and I am pretty sure they do not have a manager. I get the impression they are just all doing their own thing. I am very upset and disappointed. The only positive thing I can say is that one time we did get to eat there the food was great, too bad they can’t get their...
Read moreI had a bad experience with a to-go order here. I ordered several items, Enchiladas Verdes being on of them. The bartender took the order, and I asked several times for all the Echilades to be beef, not chicken. After the ticket was entered I asked again to make sure they were all beef. He told me he was going to make sure with the kitchen, and I did not see him again. I got home, and two of the Enchiladas were chicken... and the entire order was also very cold (I live two miles down the road). I called immediately and asked for a refund, which I was told I would receive. No refund showed on my account the next day. I called the restaurant and spoke to someone (manager?), who told me a refund would not be possible because they had already closed out sales from the day before. They offered to make me a new order, but I declined. The food was mediocre at best. A bad experience, with poor resolution. Had the order been initially correct, the food had been fresh, or had I been refunded, I would have not been as disappointed with this business. Will not go...
Read moreI accidentally made a wrong turn going out from the hotel and wound back up on the interstate. So I go to the next exit to turn around and see this restaurant. I go inside and I'm immediately seated and my waiter came over to take my order. I ordered Coke to drink and guacamole dip as my appetizer. I ordered a burrito California for my meal. They had live music tonight with a gentleman playing the guitar and singing and he wasn't bad. There were several groups there and it was a very lively atmosphere but not too rambunctious. The salsa was very good the guacamole was great and my burrito California which has chicken and spinach inside a large flour burrito was excellent. I found the prices to be very good. My entire meal including tip was less than $25. Friends that is not bad at all. So if you're in this area the restaurant is at exit number 70 on Interstate 24 West going toward Nashville. Give them a try.
In response to the owners reply you can rest assured I will be back when I am visiting our plant in Antioch. And it will be...
