Nestled comfortably on the outskirts of Smyrna, this cozy coffee shop lives up to its name and more. Smyrna Coffee offers an inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly—exceptional food and coffee that leave a lasting impression.

The highlight of my visit was the Blackened Turkey and Cheese Sandwich—a savory masterpiece. The turkey is seasoned to perfection, carrying just the right amount of smoky heat without overpowering the sandwich. It’s paired with melty cheese on fresh bread that’s toasted just enough for a satisfying crunch. Every bite delivers a bold, flavorful punch that makes this sandwich a must-have for any lunch run or midday craving.

To accompany it, I ordered an Americano, and it didn’t disappoint. Smooth, rich, and well-balanced, it had a depth of flavor that’s hard to come by. It’s clear the baristas take pride in their craft, and it shows in every sip.

The menu is the problem. Very nice coffee shop ! Very pretty asthetic and location. The only issue here is the menu. When entering the coffee shop and heading to the counter there is no menu…!? The menu is displayed on the wall behind the coffee matchines and is not visible unless you go around the counter to see it. There is another display on the wall when entering that has a few coffee options but no syrups are listed. No sizes are listed. For the lunch menu all that is displayed is a few items such as cubano, veggie. What do these items contain.? What veggies are in the veggie.? I wish they had a better way to be more detailed with their menu and more descriptive of what the food items contain. A QR code to scan for the menu would be perfect. I suggest they come up with a better way to show the menu. I didn’t really know what they have 🤷🏽‍♀️. I ordered a seasonal strawberry matcha and it was not good! Sorry! Very grainy and powdery.! I felt like I was coughing powder. Did not have a good taste. Nice for a picture but that’s it....

I’ve been trying out small coffee shops in the area and really wanted a nice iced coffee bev. I landed on Smyrna Coffee because the reviews were decent, the pictures looked nice and it was close.

Best decision I made though I tend to prefer locales with drive-thrus, I’m glad I walked in. The staff was helpful in assisting me in choosing something. I tried a banana split ice latte with oatmilk, one of their seasonal drinks. DELICIOUS 10/10 would recommend.

The inside seating is plentiful yet small so it can feel overcrowded quickly. There was a decent amount of people inside but I could see feeling kind of claustrophobic if most of the seats were full. Overall worth dropping in for takeout or hanging in on your laptop.
