I was obsessed with this place for years! Until this year... I took my daughter and son for lunch was seated immediately and chips and salsa brought right after but after 20 minutes (yes I checked the clock!) and no server even approached us I was irritated. I attempted to flag down a server who was rushing to an older couple 2 booths away from us who had just been seated but she ignored me. I dropped a 5 dollar bill on the table for the chips and salsa and told the kids come on. I did stop by the hostess stand and inform them we were leaving to which her response was- did noone ever help you? I said no, noone, but it's okay. She apologized a couple times, I assured her it was okay and we left. 2 weeks later my husband wanted to eat here just the 2 of us so we went. Everything going good until our food arrived and my husband went to take a bite of his rice and dangling from his fork was the longest piece of hair I'd ever seen. I flagged down the first waitress I saw and said oh no, he needs a new plate ASAP without any hair, that is disgusting! The waitress brought a new plate out immediately and it was hair free. It's just after the hair we had both kinda lost our appetites. I have not been back since and that was over 3 months ago. We would typically eat here 2-3x's a month. I hate to bring up 2 bad incidents considering 2 out of all the times we ate here is actually pretty great but I guess the hair is still too fresh in my mind to try again just yet. The food really is good though and the prices aren't bad. This use to be our favorite restaurant for probably 10 years. I just have a issue with hair in food! Read morei havent been to this location in a good 14+ years. last time i went my whole family got food poisoning and food was not subpar. they went from being "dead" to "booming" business wise over the years so i decided to try it again. WOW. the food has come such a long positive way. i would definitely eat here again for the taste and quality of food. however, the service was not great. our waiter showed up maybe three times; to get our drinks, our food order then our check. he never checked on us or refilled our drinks. it took him over 30 minutes to get our check after we were able to track him down by another waiter. the assistant manager ended up catering to us majority of our time there. we expressed our concerns and he did apologize. we understand you have other tables but if you cannot handle it , please talk to your manager about less tables or to get a helping hand and to PLEASE check on your table and make. eye. contact. now the parking, it was god awful. people blocking each other in and parking in grass is ridiculous. we ended up having to park another building over to walk over-in the rain- because we literally could not even get into the entrance it was that bad. i know there was work done to the building to make it better looking and more accommodating to the public but PLEASE figure out something for a better parking lot. i use to live in the neighborhood directly behind it for many years and meanwhile it was great during the "dead" season it had, now it's impossible anytime of weekday to find parking and without risking someone just parking behind you because they as well cannot find a LEGIT spot or the option of parking somewhere else building wise...

I went in with my boyfriend for lunch, and everything was great until the check came. I gave the waitress my card and she came back promptly saying it was declined. I knew that was wrong because I just checked my balance that morning; however, I had been having issues with that card, so I gave her another. She came back again stating that card was declined as well. That card also had plenty of money to cover the bill. My boyfriend then gave her his credit card. This card is a business credit card with a high limit. This time, the manager came back and said it did not go through. The receipt that printed said “Comm Error” (Commercial Error) - meaning it was an issue with their system. He was extremely rude during the entire conversation and demanded that we use an ATM to get cash. We asked if there was an ATM at the restaurant and he said no. He expected one of us to stay at the restaurant while the other went to an ATM. I said absolutely not and that we’d go to the ATM together and return. He told me that I would have to leave something of value with him before we left and I told him no. We ended up walking out to find the nearest ATM which was about a 3 min drive. We had no problem pulling funds from the ATM; however, the ATM charged us an outrageous fee because it wasn’t our bank. We returned to pay the waitress and we didn’t receive any kind of apology.
