Every meal I have had here was freshly prepared for me when I placed my order. I am a frequent customer, with no bad experience. I have been in the kitchen to see the hand-made burgers, and there's no frozen food other than ice cream. Angus Burger has recently been purchased by the new owner, Angie. She is always there working hard to make everything the best possible. There can be a bit of a language barrier at times. However, Angie tries to understand our NW American culture the best she can, be patient. The business is very personal to her. She welcomes feedback on the meals. Bad reviews are taken very personally by Angie. Speak up if you are not happy with your meal so it can be addressed and provide nice reviews if you enjoy your meal. I have recommended it to my friends and brought lots of my family members to enjoy meals with me. We have never had an issue with a meal. It is important to support our local, small, family...
Read moreWe have been trying out some local joints and this is one of the best I've tried. Fast and friendly customer service. California burger was awesome. Generous portions of avocado and not soggy or greasy. I've tried many places where the bun is practically soaked/spongy but this burger had a lot of substance and structure. Combo Cheese steak was so good. Greasy as it should be but the level of spice was spot on. Lots of jalapeños. You could probably request more if you really wanted. Onion rings were amazing. Crispy not too heavily breaded. My one year old got the chicken strips and couldn't stop eating them. She ate two entire pieces. Fish and chips were great too. The fish was flaky and meaty. A very large portion. Tartar sauce was tasty. Not so heavy on the mayo flavor like other places. Fries were good but I especially enjoyed the fry sauce. Akin to animal sauce/thousand island...
Read moreI dropped in on a whim and ordered the BBQ Burger. It looked a bit over the top with a huge onion ring on the burger, but I figured I’d give it a go. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was!
This was probably the most amazing burger I’ve ever had. As soon as I unwrapped it the smell was incredible. I didn’t realize it had crispy bacon on it, but that was a total plus. The lettuce, pickle, and mild onions gave it a tangible, cool crunch that contrasted nicely with the hot burger and crispy onion ring on top. The bun seems like some kind of brioche bun, and is definitely not your standard, cheapie burger bun. The tang of the BBQ sauce was just right. I couldn’t fit the whole thing in my mouth at once because it was so tall, but overall I was more than impressed. I’m looking forward to trying some other things on the menu next time. This...
