Hops n Drops — Restaurant in Snohomish

This was our first time here and we were not impressed. The menu on line looked good so we decided to come in for dinner. We walked in and waited for longer than expected considering that it was pretty empty. The manager, who was sitting at booth, got up and seated us. He apologized for not having crayons for our kids menus which was quite disappointing considering the entire menu had games on it my kids couldn't play. He then lead us to a booth nestled against a sliding frosted glass window that had greasy finger prints all over it. He slid it shut for us Im assuming as a courtesy. We ordered the potato nachos without bacon which came to our table with bacon anyway. The server apologized and brought us another. The drinks did not wow. I had a lemon cello which was decent and my husband an IPA. We ordered Cajun shrimp tacos, chicken taquitos and kids corn dog and chicken strips. NONE of the food was GOOD. We even tried desert but it was a waste too. Such a disappointment, we won't go back. 2 stars for the lemoncello. Also, the bathroom was nasty with a clogged toilet unattended. Gross.

Update: I reached out to the GM per request of the owner. She was very understanding and helpful. I can honestly say that leadership here really does care about righting wrongs and overall strives for people to have a pleasant dining experience. I'll be visiting again in the future and when I do, I hope to...

UPDATED! 7/21/23 pictures of the Morning burger I received, ate 3 bites and threw the rest away, dry and burnt and disgusting tatsing....another let down! Again and again. Can't make this up, that's why I am sharing. Shame on you!

Update: Door dash this time.... Ordered a French dip and burger... requested dipping sauces..... got zero! Horsey sauce and tarter would have been spectacular with the meal, but got another let down. WHO manages this place???? Who ever OWNS this establishment has great food.... poor management. I GET COVID ..... I work in the Automotive industry!!!!!!! Very disappointing after a long day and long week! Again..... Blazing onion in walking distance from "Hops n Drop" and Collectors Choice in Snohomish has never been a let down and their service is hand down better then a continued let down here!

Ordered food 2 hours ago.....still no food delivered. Update..... order canceled...money refunded. DONT use GRUBHUB!!!! WOW. How good food leaves a forever bitter and disgusting tatse. Proves in this time we are all in...don't support the chains...CCR would have fulfilled their responsibility....shout out to Collectors Choice Restaurant....you guys rock! Should have given my money to you tonight.... Nachos on a paper plate is what is in for dinner now Thanks to Hops and Drops in Snohomish and GRUBHUB...I doubt anyone will read...

Normally, this location has amazing service and food. This time, it was off. I let the waitress know I am allergic to jalapeños and gluten-free. I asked if the fries were gluten-free, having not had them before. She told me they were. They are not gluten free they are coated.

Thankfully, my husband suggested I get the tots since I love them and know they are safe. When they came out, half of them were so over fried it was like foam with all crunch and no soft inside. I took them with my sandwich but ended up tossing them when I got home. The grease from eating half of them at the restaurant was enough to not keep them once they failed to settle during the drive.

We ordered the potato chip nachos. She brought out salsa and guacamole that both have jalapeños in it. When asked about the quac, she said she didn't think so. She could double-check if I wanted. Having been told in the past it did, I told her, "Please do." Sure enough, it still has jalapeños.

We ordered the grilled cheese for our munchkin cheddar with extra cheese and it came out with American cheese. Thankfully she was hungry and ate it so we didn't have to wait for a new one to be made as she was in almost melt down hungry.

Gluten will make me miserable jalapeños can send me to an ER. Overall, really disappointed and dinner was definitely not worth the 80 dollars...
