China Best Buffet — Restaurant in Socorro

I got really sick after eating here. Not sure if the person I came in with put something in my food/drink or whether or not something was placed in the food by the owners but someone definitely did something to my food/drink deliberately while I was at this restaurant as I was severely sick for a few days The wontons did look and chew like they were made the day before I worked at a Chinese restaurant with all these different buffet foods I'm well aware of what they're supposed to be like directly after cooked There were 3 other customers & none of them returned to the buffet to get food the entire time I was there They all left after sitting there at least half the time I was there I only ate one plate of food bc I already knew someone was going to try...

China best buffet is decent little establishment. A few perks I must say are a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, and an attentive waitress. Do not come here for world class oriental eats however. Most of the food available at the buffet appears to have been sitting out for quite a while. Most of the food is mislabeled. Not so good for those whom may have food allergies mind you. Other food items have been thrown in bins with other food with which they do not belong. If however you are quite in the mood for cheap Chinese eats it is edible, and isn't too terrible. What a horrendous place to have a meal! We should have known better when we pulled up on a Thursday at 4pm and not a car was in the parking lot. Filthy carpets, cracked and aging booth seating that they wouldn't be able to give away, it was so bad. The food was so completely covered in oily/sugar sauces so you couldn't tell the difference between the chicken or the beef. The broccoli was so limp and yellow from age, it hung over the plastic fork.
