I ordered our usual âFriday Night Pizza Nightâ order from the Little Caesars in Soddy Daisy. I placed the order through the Little Caesars app because it is generally much easier to deal with than the employees at this location.
When I arrived at my allotted time and saw that the store was very busy.
Sure enough, when I went to get my pizza it wasnât ready. I could tell that many of the people in the store were very angry and had been there a long time. Since I didnât really want to deal with the negative atmosphere, I decided to wait in my care.
I waited another 10 minutes and went back in to see about my Pizza. I saw (again) that my pizza was still not ready. I went to approach the cashier to ask about the timeline but quickly heard the employee (later identified as âAmandaâ⌠who claimed to be an assistant manager) start an argument and become very defensive and accusatory with another customer who said he has waited over an hour and a half for his pizza. Seeing this, I decided to give it a few more minutes as I didnât want any conflict. I waited again in my car for another 15 minutes.
After my now 25 minute wait, I decided to go again and check for my order. To my surprise the order was still not ready. I waited at the counter and employees came and went but no one ever approached me then finally one seemingly kind young lady employee (I didnât get her name) smiled at me⌠and went to another register.
Eventually, âAmandaâ approached me and asked what I wanted (yes. She asked that abruptly). I told her that I could not wait any longer for my order and needed a refund. She responded âA refund for what? You havenât paid me anything.â I then told her I had ordered online and that I needed a refund for the order that I paid for but never received. She then snapped âyou will have to do that online. I donât refund people for online orders. That has to be done the same way you ordered.â I asked her for her name, and she barked âAmandaâ. I asked her if she had a last name (after all, she has my full name on the order so why wouldnât it be fair to have hers?). She then barked again âIâm not giving you thatâ.
I asked her if she was a manager and her initial response was âyesâ. I then said thank you and that I would advise the online support of her name. She then responded âdo you want a managerâ. I said that I would love to speak to a manager and she called for another employee who appeared to work at the store and was in uniform. Upon speaking with this employee (name never provided and not displayed anywhere) I again asked if I could get a refund for my online order and this employee stated she could do that at the register. Amanda then became defensive about that being a possibility and the new (helpful) employee advised Amanda to let her use the register. This person then refunded me my money and we left.
As I left, there were several other customers complaining and demanding assistance as they had also been waiting what I only imagine was a much longer than planned.
My points of this message are: Little Caesars should not promise people orders by a time/deadline that they clearly had no intention of keeping. If Amanda is in fact an Assistant manager, they is severely disappointing. She clearly has zero people skills and should not be allowed to interact with customers. She was rude, snarky, disrespectful, dishonest, and unprofessional. The âserviceâ at this location has rapidly been on the decline over the last several months. If able, please avoid patronizing this location. I certainly will not be back for a looooong time (if ever). (Not mentioned earlier) the place was disgusting and a mess. Not really sure how it has ever passed any health code or...
Read moreIt was the most rude experience of my life!! I took thin crust pizzz back because it was awful!! Worse pizza I ever had!! It was the sggiest thing ever had no sauce unless it was all soaked into the crust , not at all what I had wxpected to get for the price I paid for it . Upon making my complaint to a cashier she got mmediatelt rude and defensive her name started with sn A ash I could remember it she had dark hair and pug tails and glasses. She said nothing wrong with the pizza and refused yo refund my money. I have never dealt with such an arrogant rude person. Just tells you what this world is coming toohaving to hire people that have no respect for the customer (which by the way pays their wades)!! I asked fir a manager she was none there nor would he be back tonight. I sad now I remember why I had not been there for a long time. She replied well you donât need to come back. I told her a would be back tomorrow she could count on it just long enough to speak to the manager about her as well as the pizza. She arrogantly said ok like she was proud of her attitude. Hopefully her manager is not the same attitude she has. We shall see but I will say that was no 15.09 pizza and after speaking t manager U will never go back there not becase she said not to but because their pizza is not fit to eat. With employee I with that attitude I definitely would not support...
Read moreNot one to normally give a bad review, but damn. Ordered two 3 meat treat pizzas with no sauce. Easy enough order, or so I thought. Waited 20 minutes with a screaming toddler in back. Finally went in to get pizzas and got told the girl behind counter rang up two 3 meat treat pizzas with extra sauce AND thin crust. I rejected them and was told that was what I ordered. Still trying to figure out how the hell you can screw up an order at a pizza place, but hey, what I ordered and paid for sounded exactly what got prepared, right? Asked for an order of crazy bread at 8:30 at night, was told they would have special make it because they were breaking down for close. I could swear there was an hour and a half before they closed, but must have forgotten how to tell time. Like previous comments, bunch of kids acting like kids in an adult job. To busy laughing and flirting with each other to pay any attention to a customer or their order. This is one of the prime examples of why everyone protests fast food workers getting $15.00 an hour. Guess you truly do get what you pay for. UPDATE... after rejecting the first pizzas due to inaccuracy, got home to find the ones they made to replace them were wrong. Never will spend another dime...
