This trail is a gift from Camden County and should be treated as such. It's so nice to be able to walk with our kids to Lindenwold Park from Gibbsboro via the trail. But it takes away from the quality time with our kids and the natural beauty of the trail with all the garbage and dog poop littering the picnic area and both sides of the trail, and even into the woods that surround it. Last summer my son and I biked to Lindenwold Park, but we packed a lunch and wanted to use the picnic area. When we got to the picnic table, the garbage can was overflowing with liquor bottles, fast food trash, soda cans, and even cigarette butts all over the ground. Someone had even used a section of the table to put out their cigarette buts on. Because of all this, there was a swarm of angry and aggressive wasps that kept us from being able to sit at the table at all. I'm not sure who's in charge of emptying the garbage can, but that thing stayed like that all Summer long into the Fall. I understand Wally and his assistant are busy. Maybe it would help if there were trash receptacles and dog waste stations all along the trail and not just in one spot.
