Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Somerdale

I have already submitted this to the complaint website for papa John’s but they would not let me submit this whole thing, nor the pictures, so that’s why I am coming to here. I contacted the somerdale papa johns and wanted to place an order for pickup but they had told me they could only give me delivery because of how close it was to closing time (they close at 12). I felt like it was odd to close pick up before delivery, but They told me because of this they could give me a discount which amounted to $6.44. They asked me my payment method and I told them cash and they said the drive carry’s 20$ so he’d only be able to give me change in that way I said ok. I called back 10 minutes later because I decided I wanted to change my payment method to card. I called about 10 times and the people who answered the phone (tech team that takes orders and sends them to my local restaurant) would try to connect me to the somerdale papa johns but no one answers. The phone would ring to no end. Finally I decided ok I will just pay with cash. The driver comes and I give the driver a 50 and I said just give me 20$ back (giving the driver a 5$ tip). The driver says he has to go to his car to get the change. He comes back and since it was cold he ran right back to his car and not giving me a chance to count it. When I counted the driver has only given me back 18$. It could’ve been a mistake, but after all I had went through not being able to get in touch with anyone at this store, this sent me over the edge. The pizza was fine, our other items looked burnt and cold and tasted like they’d been out all day. To make this even worse, the people who ate the pizza and items we’d ordered, had gotten sick an hour later. Clearly it was stale old leftover food we had gotten. To make things even worse, today I called my local papa johns and again no one answers. I called costumer service line and no one could get in touch with the somerdale papa johns. I am completely upset and disgusted at how this is being handled. *AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST * Update on our refund: To recap we ordered one large specialty pizza online and had to wait 65 minutes before being notified that it was ready for pick up. When we arrived there were Customers in the lobby yelling at the crew trying to get refunds and/or their orders. Also two male crew members were trying to fight each other. We decided to be patient given the chaos and was forced to wait an additional two hours for our one pizza. They got the order wrong and had to remake it three times. The customer service and automated systems are 100% useless, we never get a phone call back. When I did get ahold of them they finally tried to call the store (with me on the line) to grant me the refund.. that’s right they can’t do it the store actually has to approve it. As usual the store didn’t answer the phone. The customer service manager bluntly told me to dispute it with my bank. So, along with a couple of other customers we are disputing it with the bank. I doordashed an order from the papa John's in somerdale for my kids. 3 pizza's, pizza was delivered hot and in a timely fashion. My kids opened all the pizza's to find out everyone was cooked too hard and crust wasn't edible. I immediately called the store used the animated system and pressed 5, it began to transfer me only foe the line to ring until system disconnected me. For the next 40 minutes I called and the same thing continuously reoccurring. The customer service reps were useless and kept transferring me to the manager which still wasn't answering. 22 calls later and an hour wasted, still no communication about a refund, new pizza's being re-issued, or anything from a manager.
