Super Wok — Restaurant in Somerdale

My fiancé and I are new to the area, and we’ve been trying new places on the nights we order take out. We’ve tried a few differently Chinese spot in the area and I’m sad to say they’re all very horrible. I’m from the pennsauken area and the take out food around there is pretty good, but nothing out here is even remotely good, especially the Chinese take out spots. I hate giving spots bad reviews, but when I spend $32 on some bad take out I get a little upset. I don’t expect every place I eat at to be the best of the best but if I can’t even give the place 5/10, that’s pretty sad. I’d rate the food here 1/10. The people are very friendly and personable which is nice but the food was so bland, and dry. I ordered beef and broccoli( my usual go to, I always feel like it’s a safe option so I stick to it) the sauce was watery and flavorless and the beef was like chewing on rubber. My fiancé ordered the garlic chicken, no flavor, no spice, and DRY! The food was very hot(temperature) when we received it which I thought was good sign, considering we ordered kinda late. If you’re looking for good take out, I’d stay away from this spot. Especially if youre used to half way...

The steamed dumplings were meh. Not great but not horrible, either. The egg rolls were the same way--very dry, but not otherwise horrible.

The general tso's chicken, though. Ew. It went in the trash after a few bites. The breading was so soggy that it was mushy. The sauce was very thin and liquid, and the breading was absolutely soaked through with it. The pieces were stuck together and you couldn't easily pull them apart without the breading falling off. Very disappointed with the sanitary practice of the individual who took my order; this individual was chewing on something when he took my order (he was sucking as if something was in his teeth). He went to the side after taking my order and sipped from a carry our container (thought if was ice tea), came back around and started on my order ( no problem there) but it was what he did afterwards that troubled me. He had a bucket next to the fryer and bent down and spat in the bucket (looked like what you spit out from chewing tobacco). Food was not tasty ( when my daughter doesn't finish her steamed dumplings--thats a bad sign). Will not...
