I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants unless they are complete 5 star but this one felt necessary. I wish I could leave a 5 star because we had an AMAZING breakfast here. The food was perfect! My husband had the cream chipped beef and a side of scrapple and I had the special with eggs, french toast and bacon. Absolutely incredible all around. The young boy who worked there appeared to be a busser but he was also the host and was doing a lot of the server's jobs as well. That was an incredible amounts of hats for one kid to fill and he did it with grace and a smile on his face. I saw my waitress 3 times, once when she took our order and the next was when she dropped off our food (we asked for our check at that time because we did not see much of her) and then when she dropped our check back off. The busser got us the extra things we needed like sugar and napkins, as well as took our book to the server when we wanted to pay. He was always visible and never forgot anything that we asked for. I definitely will return but do suggest t..hat m anagement make sure that their servers are visible and outside instead of inside & maybe if they took sections that would help because there were 3-4 servers and I only saw them briefly to take an order or to drop off or pick up checks. Long review short we will be back for amazing food and incredible service but the busser saved those...
Read moreIT WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER GOING THERE. IT WAS MY PARENTS IDEA WHO LIVE IN THE TOWN. I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO GO BUT TO BE A GOOD SON I WENT.
IT WAS OK. NO BELLS AND WHISTLE GOING OFF.
MY SON AND MOM BOTH HAD BURGERS WHICH THEY RAVED ABOUT. I'M NOT A BURGER PERSON.
MY WIFE HAD AN OPEN FACE BEEF BRISKET. SHE BROUGHT SOME OF IT HOME BECAUSE SHE SAID IT WAS GOOD.
MY DAD HAD SPINACH RAVIOLIS. IT WAS A NICE PORTION OF 8 OR 9 LARGE SIZE RAVIOLIS. HE SAID THAT IT WAS GOOD AND BROUGHT TWO HOME FOR LATER.
NOTHING IN THE MENU BLEW ME AWAY SO I STUCK WITH APPETIZERS. I HAD CALAMARI, SPICY CAJUN SHRIMP, AND WAFFLE FRIES. THE CALAMARI WAS GOOD, JUST WISH THERE WERE MORE FOR $9. THE POPPERS, I EITHER MISREAD THE MENU OR THIS PLACE HAS NO IDEA WHAT A POPPER IS. I HAD VERY SMALL FRIED SHRIMP AND SOME PIECES OF OVERCOOKED CHICKEN WITH A DIPPING SAUCE. LEAST TO SAY I WAS NOT IMPRESSED. THE BEST PART WAS THE WAFFLE FRIES WHICH WERE NOT NORMALLY ON THE MENU.
THE MAIN THING THAT STOOD OUT TO ME WAS THE AGE OF THE CLIENTELE. EXCEPT FOR A YOUNG COUPLE (MAYBE IN THEIR 30S) WHO WERE THERE WITH TWO YOUNG KIDS AND THE KIDS' GRANDPARENTS MY 15 YEAR OLD SON AND MYSELF WERE THE YOUNGEST ONES THERE. I THOUGHT I WAS AT A DINING HALL AT A GERIATRIC CENTER.
NEXT TIME MY PARENTS SUGGEST THIS PLACE I MAY HAVE TO LIE AND SAY I DON'T FEEL GOOD BUT HAVE A GREAT...

My SIL and I went to lunch with my grandson an infant. We were surprised by how busy it was at 1:30 pm off season. After dining there I can totally understand why they were hopping! We were seated at a large round table which we put the infant in his car seat right on the table top. My SIL ordered the Ruben Special which is a cold corned beef with coleslaw on rye sandwich, which he had a choice of French Fries or potato salad. He chose the potato salad. It also came with a pickle. He also ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup which he said was very good. I ordered the Hot Pastrami Ruben with Russian dressing, sauerkraut and melted Swiss cheese. I also selected the potato salad as my side. We polished off both sandwiches, however neither one of us could eat all of the huge mound of potato salad which was creamy and potatoes were cooked perfectly. My hot pastrami sandwich was loaded with pastrami and tender. The corned beef was piled high too and my SIL told me it was excellent. At first when my order arrived, my first thought was that I would have 1/2 sandwich leftover for the next day, but it was so tasty, I ate the whole thing! We also ordered two fountain diet sodas. Service was attentive and friendly. Will...
