Excuses, rude staff, and subpar quality of food make this a place we will never go to again. After waiting for 45 minutes, I asked the waitress how much longer it would be for our food. Although she said she would check, she never came back. After 50 minutes, our food was delivered cold and not cooked properly. The eggs Benedict was way overcooked, the other eggs that were supposed to be hard, were still soft and runny. When we attempted to bring it to the attention of the waitress, she walked away, and the next thing we know someone came out of the building and started raising her voice and telling us we were rude. I asked her why we were rude to point out that the food was not properly cooked, and that it was cold. Her excuse was that they were busy. However, there were only three tables inside with people who had been there before we got there. And, the four tables outside, all came after we did. Apparently, we are supposed to accept that busy means there are no standards or that we should lower our standards to whatever they decide they want at the moment. We were perfectly fine waiting for our food, and would not have had an issue had it been cooked properly and served at least warm. To be told we were rude when we would not accept this is totally unconscionable! Instead of making excuses, an apology should have been forthcoming. Instead, we were told to pay the bill for food we did not eat. I am all about being patient and understanding when places are busy and low on staff. But that works both ways. To have someone yell at us when we tell them the food is not acceptable and then demand we pay for it? What are...
Read moreUsed to have really good food and great service. The last couple times I've been on there both have been subpar. My last visit I ordered for pickup and they ran out of part of what I ordered. When I originally placed the order we had two meals and had ordered onion rings instead of fries with them. Was told they didn't have onion rings. So we changed it to cheese curds. Was charged the extra price for the upgrade. When got to the restaurant we were told that they only had enough cheese curds to make one order. The only thing left that they had were fries. They asked We would be okay with them substituting the fries. Of course it was the only thing left. We ended up waiting in the restaurant another 15 minutes for them to make fries. In the meantime I order sat there and got cold. I'm not sure why they didn't just make the fries and put them in the order anyways since it was the only thing left to substitute. After I gotten home with the order and looked at the receipt I noticed I still got billed for the upgrade for the cheese curds. The other order They had made the cheese curds for the curds were very small and a very small amount of them. Food was cold and not good. Was surprisingly disappointed with everything. Definitely not the service or food they've...
Read moreNot really sure who rated this place so highly, or why, but this might've been the worst breakfast dining experience I've ever had; at least that I can remember. The sausage 'gravy' was like soup, the hashbrowns were greasy and luke warm, and 'hard' from sitting on the grill too long... annnnnd the waffle was literally flat! (Ever see a flat, Belgian waffle!??) The 'dark' toast came out lightly toasted and coffee was refilled ONE time, then never offered to be refilled the rest of our stay. I never complained directly, so our waitress was completely unaware of the poor dining experience. (She didn't even notice that I only ate the bacon and eggs, leaving the rest of the entire plate untiuched!) My girlfriend had the waffle, which we just kind of picked at. We actually discussed stopping at the grocery store on the way home, to buy breakfast items for later today!
Completely disappointed with...
