The Club House Sports Bar — Restaurant in Somerville

I am writing this review with a sense of deep disappointment. My friends and I went to Club House on Saturday night 9/9/23. We were expecting a night of fun and good vibes. Unfortunately, what we experienced was far from that. From the onset, DJ 5 was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He made derogatory comments and jokes at my friend's expense. Unfortunately, he did not stop there. Not only did DJ 5 degrade and embarrass me, but he showed a complete lack of respect for my Military Service and also made derogatory remarks about the United States of America. As someone who has proudly served my country, I found DJ 5's behavior deeply offensive and unacceptable. It is disheartening to see such disrespect towards those who sacrificed so much for our freedom. It is disappointing to witness someone in a position of influence using their platform to spread negativity and division. I will never return to Club House Sports Bar due to DJ 5's unprofessionalism and offensive behavior. I strongly advise others to reconsider supporting this establishment if they value respect, professionalism and a positive atmosphere. I'm a local, 33 yr old girl, and I come here often during the week and on weekends for after work drinks/early weekend cocktails. I will say that the bartenders here are phenomenal, always pleasant, always fun and come with a lot of energy! At night on the weekends, a low-key bar turns into a more club/dance scene vibe so the vibe is definitely fun for younger crowds and people who just want to dance! So regardless of what your style of a bar is, they have it all based off of the time of day or day of the week. Lizzy and Courtney are the best bartenders. Lizzy changes the drink specials including shot specials weekly so there's always new fun drinks/shots to try. They ALWAYS decorate the place for all holidays and I can see the work that is put in. Prices are inexpensive, comparitively, but can vary on how much you want to drink/eat obviously!! Don't pass the place up if you want a local spot...

I’ve been to the bar before and had a good time; however, last night was awful. Three of my friends and I happened to pass by clubhouse at 1:40am and needed to use the bathroom so we stepped in. We figured we could get one last drink too while we were at it but the bouncer didn’t want us to even step foot inside. We practically begged the bouncer to use the bathroom and then he proceeded to walk us to the bathroom, probably assuming we would just go to the bar instead. Two minutes of being inside, he aggressively pushed open the bathroom door telling us to hurry up. He had a horrible attitude from the moment he spoke to us which was unnecessary. I get wanting to close up early but if the bar closes at 2 am, then they shouldn’t have a problem with costumers inside 20 minutes before...
