Ora Beth and Curt and Flour & Bloom Cakes are the absolute BEST!! Working with them for our wedding cakes was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Starting with the first communications, Curt was so incredibly helpful in helping us schedule (and reschedule) the tasting, and accommodated us when deciding how many of us would attend. When we arrived at their beautiful bakery space, Ora Beth was so kind, and every flavor we tried was so delicious, it made choosing so difficult! The cakes that they ended up making for us, a 3 tier semi-naked Chocolate Chip Espresso cake, and a Matcha Black Sesame supplemental cake, were both unbelievably delicious, and absolutely STUNNING!
Ora Beth and Curt were both incredibly easy to work with and communicate with through every step of the process. From providing input on the cake stand, to making sure we got the right number of servings, to communicating about delivery and fridge space needed, to instructing us on dropping off greenery, and the plan for getting florals from our florist, everything just went so smoothly. They delivered right on time, placed the cake greenery and florals beautifully, and even added supports to make sure that our cake topper would be steady and supported when it came time for us to place it. Us and our guests absolutely LOVED the unique and complex flavors!! We are so grateful for the Flour & Bloom team for making our dream wedding cake absolutely perfect and unforgettable. Setting up the cake tasting was very easy - Ora Beth is very responsive over email and timing options were reasonable/flexible. The actual tasting was incredible as well. They let us try 8 cakes in their workshop at a private tasting and were so helpful/attentive with all of our questions. They offer a wide diversity in flavor and design, so you can certainly find the cake of your dreams there. We ended up choosing some classic flavors (Almond cake with raspberry buttercream and preserves, olive oil Meyer lemon, and chocolate cake with espresso buttercream and toffee pieces) and appreciated their flexibility to mix and match the cake flavors with the frostings.
Day of the wedding, they deliver and set up the cake, so you don't have to worry about anything. All of our guests raved about how delicious and pretty our cake was. Fortunately we ordered a little extra, so we have some leftovers in our freezer that are supposed to be for our anniversary, but can't say we haven't dipped into it already!!!

Let’s just say, it didn’t make our decision easy! We wanted one of everything. Ora Beth was so kind and walked us through all the decisions needed to place the order. We ultimately decided to get a small cutting cake - vanilla raspberry with whole fresh raspberries - along with a variety of mini desserts -red velvet cake bites, chocolate chip espresso cake bites, mini lemon meringue tarts, chocolate chip cookies and apricot creme brûlées. Everything was delicious and our guests raved about the desserts. Flour & Bloom decorated the cake with florals from our florist and it was stunning to look at. One of the best parts was coming back to our hotel room after a wonderful day to see a to-go box of one of each of the desserts. They didn’t make it until the morning. Flour & Bloom also took extra care to accommodate my severe peanut and tree nut allergy. I felt safe eating everything which I am rarely able to do.
