Schnoogs is yummy. Really, really yummy. How to feed yourself on a chill winter's day in Sonora, Ca: Order the yam bisque and get a turkey tarragon salad. Top off with a Paleo brownie for dessert. Sip delicious, fair-trade coffee,or one of their many flavorful teas served in these lovely and very neat mugs that have the stainless steel brewing baskets. Blissful food coma on one of the comfy couches. And if you have Little Ones, there is a nice play place for them tucked well away from the front door. They can have their own proper-sized place to sit, draw, maybe play with some blocks. A truly lovely and well-trained staff. Proprietor Sally Arnold has a very clear vision of inspiring excellence in her people by treating them with high regard, and a "Culture of Care" -- for both people and planet--is something you feel and see when you walk...

Extremely inviting, comfortable, always somewhere to sit if desired- I also love that they have a wide range of options for sitting- inside you’ll find 2 high top tables, several small round New Orleans feeling cafe tables & chairs, there’s a little “bar” facing the back wall, a few couches surrounding a coffee table and even a farmhouse style large square for large groups…and did I mention that they also have several table outside? Obviously atmosphere is very important to me. As far as food & drinks- I have yet to be disappointed! Everything they produce is delicious, and they hire the friendliest, most helpful staff in Sonora. I’m also an author- and just love to find little cozy places to people watch while I write & edit…this place checks...

Nice smokey turkey and amazing bacon. They also offer an entire shelf of gluten free treats. My raspberry scone was light and fluffy and not too sweet so the raspberry wasn't overwhelmed. Their coffee and tea selection seemed generous and they had 3 non dairy milk options. My companion reports that the not gluten free cinnamon roll was spectacular. Highly recommend...
