B E Wok & Sushi — Restaurant in Sonora

I really don’t know why I come here probably because it’s good food at times but service is absolutely the worst place in the entire Sonora and Jamestown areas. No matter how many times we’ve come here which we actually will never come here again after today! Our menus were thrown on the table and the lady walked away we sat down, we waited for at least 10 minutes and nobody came to ask us if we wanted to drink until after 10 minutes we chose hot tea it came out immediately no spoons no napkins no nothing. So the guy never even said hello to us he just asked us what he wanted to drink and walked away. He came back took our order and it seem like a while for appetizers to come out anyways they come out then our food come out the hot and sour soup was so bland it was horrible I didn’t even eat it. The rest of the food was good. Not once did he come back and check on us during our entire visit here we watched him greet other customers and be nice to them and smile and everything else I don’t know what it is about us but we were as friendly as can be being business owners ourselves. We asked him for water and he walked away and when he came back I said if you could stand there long enough we can finish asking you for where else we need can you please give us napkins and straws any left didn’t say a word to us mind you he’s not said anything to us. So as we leave we get up to the register and he runs up to the register to check us out and my husband leaves him a two dollar tip on a $30 meal and his service was poor so we weren’t going to extremely tip big which we usually are big tippers but it was awful. So he took the pin once he saw how much we gave him through it in the canister and then took the checkbook once he took the receipt out and threw it on the counter and put his hands up in the air and walked away saying stuff in Chinese. Well this finally did it for us we will never come back to this most disrespectful place in Sonora! I wish I didn’t have to leave...

My grandparents and I decided to try something different from our normal Chinese food and try this place. We had never been and I noticed they had a sign in the window that displayed they had won best of the Motherload 9 years in a row. I decided to take them up on that and try it for myself. The food was indeed very good, some of the best Chinese food I've had flavor wise. I also loved their extensive options of noodles. We ended up ordering their specialty noodles which are thin unlike the wide chow mein noodles my grandparents dislike. I only have two points of criticism to our delicious outing and that was 1: their specialty chow mein was very flavorful but lacked enough veggies and other classic Chinese flavors, it was more like we had ordered just noodles which is not what you want in proper chow mein just like you don't want just rice when you order fried rice. And secondly/lastly: the staff was friendly but we spent more time than usual looking for or waiting on our waiter. The place was half full but I didn't feel it was busy enough to take so long to refill our waters or to bring us to go boxes. We had to wait around longer than we would have liked when we had plans after dinner. Besides that, everything we ordered was great! We ordered their rice, chow mein, s&s pork, lemon chicken, and pot stickers (which were particularly good). Definitely gonna eat here again my next...

Terrible service ! The hostess wanted to sit us close to the bathrooms while the whole room was empty with only 5 tables being occupied. Non of the waiters noticed us for almost 7 minutes while couple that came after us already got the drinks and made the order… The food was fine as always that one of the reasons why I’m going to this place pretty often but the service always behind. When we were done with the food it’s took 10 more minutes for waitress come to the table again for check . She’s just didn’t acknowledge us for some reason …. It wasn’t even the busiest time I’ve been in there at 3pm…. And you know what ? I just came right to the front desk and found that all this time she was talking with the people in there and showing some pics on her phones and laughing … Like seriously??? Idk maybe the manager wasn’t at work or something on that moment . It’s already the place where you’re not welcome cause all the time people who works in there looking at you so arrogantly and literally looking at you while you writing on receipt how many $ you’ll leave as a tip. So this time it was a zero ! I’m always tipping even though I’m a foreigner and it’s not part of my culture. As it’s not part of Chinese culture and if someone doesn’t know but the tips in China considering as an insult … If somebody wants tip culture being alive please provide the good...
