Luigi's Pizza — Restaurant in South Bend

I have had Luigi's Pizza since I was a little girl and have always found it to be AWESOME! I'm not a stoner as one reviewer seemed to suggest anyone who loves this pizza must be, however I do love my pizza and frankly feel as though Pizza Hut and Papa John's have gone seriously downhill. It is %70 grease, %20 crust and if you're lucky %10 cheese and toppings. Luigi's on the other hand is generous with their toppings and cheese. They find a perfect balance of sauce toppings and cheese and don't need to overcompensate with crust. They also have amazing spaghetti, homemade sauce and meatballs, and incredible grinders. By the way coming from someone who actually had government cheese growing up that stuff was pretty awesome though it is beyond the point. Maybe the absolutely rude jerk who decided to make a review that does nothing but post slanderous crap should go back from wherever he came and learn some manners. Nothing wrong with not liking something, but definitely something wrong with making unfounded accusations about the owners/cooks/restaurant and the people who very much enjoy the pizza here which has been around for decades... that that...

We ordered 2 identical 16" pizzas, 6 toppings, double sausage, double mushrooms, double cheese with extra sauce. I picked them up at store, upon my arrival at 35 minute time 1pizza just came out of oven, other pizza, elderly lady told me they forgot to make 2 pizzas. They were just putting 2nd pizza in oven. After I waited 20 minutes, got pizzas home. 1 pizza seriously lighter. By weighing them 1 pizza not 6 toppings, weighed 1 LB 8 ounces less than 1st pizza. Called next day to talk to manager, she not there, I complained about obvious weight difference, was told "they not make pizzas that way", excuse was made by 2 different people, called next day, manager still not there, left my phone number. READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ALL OTHERS! I ordered from this place because the other options were 1.5 to 2.5 hours wait for pickup. I thought it odd that it was the normal 35 minute wait. The reviews here show it having a high rating. Don’t believe them - they all must be fake. Because this is the WORST pizza I’ve ever eaten from a pizza restaurant. It looks like one of those pizzas that you buy from a grocery store and heat up yourself. And the two pizzas I bought were both cold upon pickup. And get this - I ordered two pizzas and the second one was in a bag. They fed me some line that it was better. But both pizzas were cold so I couldn’t even tell. This place is horrible.
