Went here for endless shrimp for my husband. Absolutely terrible. Restaurant needed cleaned up a bit. We were greeted promptly. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Downhill from there. First, stuffed mushrooms came out, didn't look appealing. Mostly breaded stuffing. Hardly any cheese or anything else. Another 10-15 minutes later our "fried oysters" came out. Oyster "shells" on newspaper because "oysters" were dime size at best. They must have breaded the "Can smoked oysters" it was awful, pitiful and shameful for that to have even of hit the table. At $10.99 for 6 oysters, you think you would actually get oysters. Salad came in between the mushrooms and oysters. Their ranch dressing is flavorless and watered down. I eat salad everywhere and every time. Not this time. I asked for a baked potato with butter and cheese. I got butter and sour cream. Husband ordered potatoes and broccoli. Never received the broccoli. We waited forever. Our food was delivered to the wrong table. Our server put the incorrect table#. Because as we were finally finishing up, they tried to deliver the other table's food to us. We immediately told the server of the disappointment in the "oysters" , the manager took them off. After waiting until the 2 tables that came in after us with one of them being served our food. Then both of them served their food. Our server went to the manager Again, after stopping by saying, they just said they brought your food out. And I told her, to the wrong table. So when we received our food Finally, we didn't notice that my husband was missing his broccoli. My potato was wrong. And No lemon served with the shrimp. Which we asked for and never received. Our server, looked to be training another server, or just splitting a party . While watching and waiting, the other server seemed to know Much More about what was going on than our server. Our server was extremely nice. Just not on, tonight. Kitchen definitely didn't help at All. Biscuits are great. The rest of the food is Flavorless. After all that, manager bought the 2 appetizers. Perhaps the service manager needs to be retrained. He was watching all this going on. Managers are to "manage" the...
Read moreI took my mom out for her 80th Birthday! We both chose to have the Ultimate Feast: mom chose to have the two cold water lobster tails and the Garlic Shrimp Scampi that came with rice pilaf and Grilled Shrimp Skewer and a double side of Broccoli.. Of course, being a Rhode Islander, we both know excellent seafood being from the Ocean State where we specialize in Seafood with our ice cold Ocean! Our food was absolutely delicious by far the best seafood in FL by far! The lobster, Shrimp, and Broccoli was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Simply incredible!!! Our server name was Kurtis, and he was wonderful... However, we did go during happy hour. My mom had the frozen Strawberry Margarita, and it was simple awful and undrinkable. IT TASTED LIKE DIRTY WATER! The color alone was light, light pink you couldn't taste the strawberries or the tequila! I ordered the Pineapple pina Colada I asked him to have them use the Malibu Coconut Rum. It tasted like a simple fruit juice drink. We had to send back mom's Margarita because it was gross! She settle for a Coor's lite which was delicious. I should have asked my server to have the bartender make me a knew one or give me a shot the Malibu coconut rum so I could have added to my drink. Inspite of the drinks. We will still go back there for many delicious meals. The hospitality was wonderful. The Manager, Joanne was simple lovely, she came to our table to ask how our dinner was and was a joy to talk to. Everything was excellent except for the cocktail and they need to add bottled water to the menu. They only had sparkling water, which mom did not like at all. So, she didn't drink it. To top off the Birthday evening Kurtis surprised mom with a lovely bowl of vanilla ice cream, with whip cream, chocolate syrup and even the cherry on top. She was in HEAVEN!! Thank, thank you!! Extra special thank you to Kurtis detail to excellent...
Read moreThis was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. It is important for your general managers to know how to treat customers and show positive attitudes. The general manager at this red lobster Joann Penksa either shouldn’t be working with customers, or at restaurants where multiple races come to eat at. A friend and I came to enjoy a meal just to come and feel disrespected and displaced. As we were in the middle of eating the manager Joann stops at our table looks at us then proceeded to walk away. She doesn’t stop to ask us about how our food is or how our experience is going like she should instead she comes back to our table and tells me that we are not allowed to share the endless shrimp, and that the next round we would have to pay for. We asked our waitress before we even placed our order if we we’re allowed to share and she said yes. Now had Joann told her employees about this then it wouldn’t have been an issue, but instead you come at me in a harshly manner about something that wasn’t even my fault. This issue could have been avoided had she actually done her JOB and informed her employees about it. This issue felt racially motivated because for one you don’t speak to us or acknowledge our presence the WHOLE time we were there. UNTIL you looked at our skin and make it seem like it was our fault that we didn’t know something, and for you to talk to me like you were disgusted to even be talking to me is outrageous. After she left our table we decided that it was time to go. So inform your employees before you try to inform your customers...
