My family and I stopped in for lunch last Saturday and we were all taken a back by how horribly the staff was behaving and how inept they were at doing their jobs. Two staff members stood directly behind the register cracking jokes with the cashier and laughing loudly in front of a bunch of guests waiting to be served. One of them had headphones in his ears and started walking in circles repeatedly and rolling his eyes as if he was bored. At that time the line had gotten rather long yet they didn't seem to care or do anything to get the line moving. The cashier kept needing help while working the register and kept walking away from it randomly while we were ordering, and it took us 50 minutes total to get our food which was mind boggling (its never taken that long at a fast food place ever). When we finally received our food two of our orders were made incorrectly and two were missing completely ( a bunch of other guests people kept coming up asking things to be remade as well) and the staff was still being nonchalant and moving incredibly slowly, unbothered that many many guests were waiting to either order or get their food. The only reason I am giving it a 1 star and not a 0 is because the manager was handling things appropriately and kept trying to get them act right but with the much of the staff being what seemed like high schoolers they didn't listen and she seemed overwhelmed. We will neverrrrr be stopping in here for food again as clearly it is not "fast food" whatsoever and the store has employed children to work...
Read moreThere is nothing wrong with employees who work very hard, in fact so hard that, no one stands / show up at the counter as they are busy packing for the folks at the “drive through” line, which is jam packed, over flows out of the premises perimeter and blocking the regular traffic.
If entering Monmouth Junction Taco Bell is that “nightmare”, leaving the Taco Bell, even “nightmarrier” and easing in to the regular traffic at new road or new road to the “left turn lane for Rt 1 North” is a “a driving test” place.
Not sure who approved this lay out / location, entry / exit blue print (SB Township ?) but this poor layout causing nightmare to the already existing traffic nightmare due to “two lanes only”, just in South Brunswick township, if you pass our South Brunswick, towards North Brunswick or on the other side, Plainsboro township, the all have 3 lanes, traffic far better than that in congested, slow moving, accidents prone, 2 lanes South Brunswick township portion of Route 1, for which I don’t see any light at all (of tunnel, in this case the road).
The “3 stars only” is for “less staff” and “poorly constructed / entrance &...
Read moreWorst Taco Bell I’ve been too and it’s practically new. The chalupas are pretty much tacos — that’s how overcooked the chalupa shells are. They only give you like 3 sauce packets and look at you like your committing a crime when you ask for more. One time we were even laughed at when we asked for more sauce. Another time we were told to wait at the next window for more sauce and then given an entire paper bag intended for food — full of sauce. We didn’t complain, but it was intended to be sarcastic of course.
Also whoever designed the drive thru has the IQ of a 1 year old child.. plus this location resides on Route 1, mind you. The drive thru is conveniently integrated/part of the actual parking lot which consists of maybe 6-8 spots total (if your lucky) and wraps around the entire store. The line is always huge and once you enter the drive thru — you’re pretty much committed as you can’t get out.
On top of the bad food and service.. the place, parking lot, and drive thru is way too crammed...
