I was robbed by the store.
I went through the drive-thru on September 15, 2023. My family ordered a two-piece class, four-piece classic, and chicken sandwich meal. We had coupons for the 2 piece meal and chicken sandwich combo. Once we drove around to the window There were three men. They were having a good time and chemistry working together. The cashier took our coupons and charged us the regular price. My husband questioned the cost and the cashier stated "Yes, I took off for the coupon". We looked at the receipt and something did not add up. So we asked again and the cashier told us that you should have said you had coupons when ordering our food. So my husband asked back for his coupon which the cashier hesitated to return. Now, my husband had to ask again and finally, the coupons were returned. We get home with our twin five-year-olds after 9 pm and we start to serve the food. Our sides are not in the boxes so no mashed potatoes or mac and cheese as ordered and paid for. My daughter cries because her mouth is burning because the chicken is spicy. My husband calls back and speaks with the Manager Luis. My husband explains this whole experience and let me add if Lewis was one of the three men at the drive-in window. You heard our question about why our coupon was not applied to our order and that your employee was curing and laughing as standard operation. So as a manager, you do not uphold standards or fix problems. You contribute by not acting and allowing the behavior to go on. I believe Luis is probably a family member of the franchise owner and the owner's only interest is making money and not providing service for the product he/she provides. The only resolution provided was to come back and get the food we did not give you and Lewis told us he was having a busy night. We explained that this time of night and the distance to the restaurant was not feasible. So nothing was resolved. Lewis could not even think enough to have the food delivered to us as his staff caused us the inconvenience. I was robbed and my child could have had a real injury from eating spicy food. This is what Luis the manager is not capable of understanding and therefore I believe once this establishment is in business longer more cracks will come to the surface.I am asking for a refund of food not given to me and an extension of my coupons to be used at a later date since this establishment would not allow me to apply it to my order. I ask that your staff not curse around me and pay attention to little details like this spicy or classic chicken. Be mindful because people have allergies and my daughter could have choked because when I tasted her food and it was hot I coughed. A child may inhale on that cough. Your job is a serious one and the new building looks nice and clean. The food was good but there are other Popeyes that have never provided such a poor experience in only five minutes. If you think this is where I stop not going to stop here. A copy of this is going to corporate. See with owners like this they only care about the dollar but don't want to work for the dollar. They see an easy business opportunity and the money, not the work we must all do for money. So as long as you don't have a problem you will be fine just don't have a little problem because it will not be addressed, just hand...
Read moreI can honestly say that if I were the manager or owner of this location, I would be extremely concerned. I ordered my food at 3:14 via mobile order. I got there at 3:24 and was told my order wasn't ready. They needed to cook an item. After 8 minutes of waiting, i went to take a seat. Every table was dirty with food crumbs and napkins, so I decided to stand. As I was waiting for food, all the staff had congregated by registers, and we were hanging out, joking and extremely loud. They were yelling over the counter to another employee, busting his balls about how they should take 10$ out of his paycheck. They told me my order was completed. They never apologized for the long wait, never offered me anything while I waited, or just thanked me for my patients. The place wasn't busy, and I got home to find my food to be cold, confusing me further as to why I waited. Lastly, the sauce on the wings was lazily drizzled, and their wing atheist, the one I got, had the Popeyes seasoning, making everything a bit spicier than expected. The place lacks leadership and felt like a bunch of kids hanging out and working at pop eyes was a hobby... nothing could make me come back here to this location.
What makes it funnier is the manager and his fiends left 5 star reviews if you scroll down...
Read moreWe went in for wings and a couple sides. We also just signed up for the rewards program where we were given 1 free item out of a list of options. In the terms, it states that it can be redeemed online, through the app, or in-store. We were in-store so we showed them our reward and they fought us tooth and nail about it. They kept saying online only and being very rude about it! Even if we continued showing them the terms listed under the reward. The terms even stated how to redeem it in store which was just to tell the cashier. After a ton of back and forth they finally redeemed it but acted like they were doing us a favor. Besides that issue, the food took around 20 min to be ready which is pretty slow for a fast food place. When we got the food, they didn’t label two of our wings so we had no idea what container had what sauce wings. I can’t have specific things so my husband had to sit and taste all of the sauces to figure out what was what. They also gave us the entirely wrong free item… we asked for the mashed potatoes and they gave us a sweet biscuit. This location definitely needs some serious work and I’d be concerned if I was the owner. The reviews for this location are pretty low and now...
