I instantly fell in love with the new coffee shop in Kingston. An unpretentious, cozy old-time atmosphere supported by a friendly young man who served us was a welcome discovery for me. Had a great chat with a friend and will return with my husband who will adore the "real" scones, not angling for size but authentic flavor. Tried the savory one and then the blueberry muffing (and did not step on the scale the next morning. The choice of muffins was too tempting. Read moreI recently stopped by to try a coffee and found the pricing to be quite high. I ordered an iced lavender coffee with regular milk, which came out to $7.00—very expensive! They charged an additional $1.00 just to add syrup, which felt excessive, especially since I could barely taste the flavor.

Got there at 1:45pm and was told that the kitchen was closed and closes at 2:00 while they are open till 4:00. My impression was that they were not really eager to make a sale.
