B & B Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

My sister placed an order for 5 plates. They asked her to check the plates before leaving and she did. When she brought the plates home, I told her my daughter’s rice and gravy side was missing. I called the restaurant and spoke to the Manager. She looked the order up to confirm it was placed. She told me to bring the plate back up there so they can remake it. I told her I took a picture of the plate and my daughter was currently eating it because she was hungry. I’m very disappointed that the only way to fix their mistake is to bring the plate back vs you can come pick up the side, offer a credit or even a dessert. To remake a whole plate……No, she’s a child. I’m not about to stop her from eating at that moment when she was anticipating the food. I’m so irritated with them. I’ve worked in two restaurants and their customer service expectations were impeccable. I hope B&B change...

One star for the service only. Today was my very first time going to b&b after hearing good things about it I decided to try it out. I paid for two Togo plates and was not informed that someone would fix my plates for me (which is no problem) so I go grab two boxes and proceed to fix my food. This lady starts yelling at me saying they have to fix them. Again this is my first visit so I did not know there are people to fix your plates for you. My problem was there is a better way to handle things. You don’t yell or holler at nobody no matter what the problem is. We were coming home from the beach and we were starving, this place appeared busy and looked nice so we decided to give it a try. We were skeptical at first because it is a buffet but several of the people waiting to be charged said the food was great (one person even said they had driven a few hours just to eat there). We got there right at the beginning of lunch so it was busy but we got seated and then went through the line. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was hot and delicious. This place serves very good country cooking. The biscuits reminded me of my grandmothers and the fried chicken was very tasty. If you get a chance stop in it is definitely worth a try they even do take out if you don't want...
