KFC — Restaurant in South Carolina

Absolutely unacceptable service and mannerisms. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 3 pc chicken box with dark meat. When the lady read back my order she said white meat which I kindly corrected and she brushed it off with an attitude stating: “yea dark meat.” When I got to the window the lady there was confused what my order was. When she was able to state my order she also stated white meat. Which I then corrected again saying “it was supposed to be dark meat.” She responded to this saying “she has it on here as white meat” and then I hear another worker in the background with an attitude saying: “I asked him what he wanted and he said white meat.” Which was absolutely not true as I have corrected it every time that it was brought up. Then it seems that another worker stated they made the box with dark meat and the lady at the window handed me my food and closed the window before I could even say anything. I checked my food and of course it was wrong, but at this point I was beyond frustrated...

KFC in Darlington is one of the worst establishments I’ve ever visited. The customer service is unacceptable, and the management at this location needs to step in immediately. The onsite leadership allowing this behavior is a disgrace.

Employees were standing around leaning on the counter instead of taking orders, showing no concern for customers. At one point, a customer simply asked for a napkin and was yelled at and told to “get them over there” while an employee pointed—absolutely ridiculous.

If I can see this lack of professionalism as a customer, how can management not? It feels like they are part of the problem. The atmosphere showed a blatant disregard for customer service and respect.

I would never recommend this location to anyone. If I could leave a negative star review, I would. If you don’t want to work in customer service, find a job better aligned with your skills—but don’t take it out on...

The staff here is truly awful. My girlfriend and I stopped to have a quick bite on our way home from the beach. Upon first walking in, the store looks nasty and unclean. The women taking my order was rude and short with me. I asked to change something in my order and she scoffed and rolled her eyes. I've never had an employee of KFC be so disrespectful to me until I ate here. During our meal, the staff was loud and horsing around. I asked for sauce but they had forgotten ot, so I went to the counter and even though 3 people saw me waiting, they continued to play around until they decided it was time to help me. The last and final straw was seeing employee's not wearing gloves and touching their faces which is a breach of health code and absolutely disgusting. Will never stop here again and wouldn't recommend it if it was the last KFC in existence. Horrible staff, sub-par chicken, and...
