The ONLY reason I'm giving 5 stars for service is because of the very nice and aware employee named Brian. I made an online order and pulled into a stall and pressed the button. He was working basically on his own running the drive thru. Three cars went through the drive-thru before he had a chance to call out to me. MEANWHILE, two other employees saw me and proceeded to carry on their conversation with each other instead of asking if I need some help. (My door was standing open in a stall and I'm looking around the screen says I activated the red button). The guy from the window came over to my car and asked for the order name. He came right back and apologized for having me wait for quite awhile. He also recognized the error in how things were handled. I 100% am thankful he was there and noticed me waiting and actually did something about it. He literally did the best he could as fast as he could seriously almost holding it down on his own. My driver window didn't work and I had both kids in the car. He helped me out big time in a small way. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it because the other two employees would have let me sit there....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I went to Sonic In Darlington SC today to get two sonic blast, we went through the drive through, the car in front of us must have had a large order as it took 30 minutes for them to get their order, we watched 3 cars behind us have their food brought to them, as we still waited, one girl who Took orders the car behind us told us your order is coming up, by the time the car in fromy of us got their order and pulled out, it still took us 10 more minutes to get our order without a Iām sorry or anything, I ask who the manager was and the girl sent Karla to the window, obviously the acting manager, who said oh sorry the ice cream machine wasnāt working, now Iām no genius but shouldnāt we have been told that, when I ask for the GM name she said it was Pia but she didnāt know her last name, then she slammed the window in our face. This is the worst excuse Iāve ever seen for any restaurant, Iāve been to Sonics in Florence and Hartsville and have never had a problem at either one. We will not be going back to this...

This is for the Sonic in Darlington. the fact that not once but 4 times in the past 2 months I have tried to order something, there is always either someone who has an attitude or just simply doesnāt want to work and has to, just poor customer service all together, or when I literally started to order one time, they stopped me mid order and said they canāt order my food and that theyāre done taking orders. (My kids were wanting ice cream.) ALSO I CANāT EVER get anyone on the microphone (4 Times that this had happened) and everyone is literally just sitting around talking or outside by their cars. Itās sad actually. If I were to do that type of service at my job I would lose my job on the spot. Smh. I donāt ever post about a business but this is bad business and my little comment wonāt make a difference (Iām not stupid I know) but at least itās out there. Do...
