Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I went to this location this morning and stood there for about 10 minutes in front of the register. One lady paid for her order that was in front of me and left. I waited and someone came next to me to pay their tab and the lady took her money. While waiting two people came in behind me. I was never acknowledged that I was standing there waiting. The lady was going to walk off and leave me standing there and I ask her mam you not going to take my order and she point to the lady that just sat down that she had to take there order first. I waited a minute and left. Went to the one in Florence and walk through the door was told gm by the work went to the register and they took my order right away. With the same amount of people that was in the darlington location. That lady had no good customer service because instead of walking around me as if I was not standing there she could have at least acknowledge me and said I will be...

I should have walked out as soon as I was seated! This place was TERRIBLE! I want my money back! Our waiter Gerald was rude and only cared about his tip. No joke when me and my husband sat down he said “I don’t even care I’m just trying to get this tip.” Me and my husband were instantly uncomfortable, because we didn’t feel important. Then he steady kept coming to the table saying “Do y’all need anything else? I’m about to clock out!” We answered “No thanks.” He watched me finished eating and while doing so he whispered to Jackie his co worker “I don’t think they are going to tip.” Well I caught everything he said and it made me feel so bad. I’ve been giving this place chance after chance before I left a bad review but I think tonight drew the line. The best word I can describe for the people who work there is 100% laziness. Your probably thinking oh well that’s just normal fast food industry but no. Giving people raw steaks and then not putting it back on the grill or giving me a refund is absolutely absurd. Tonight was even worse though. I arrived to a not even quester full Waffle House only to be turned away because they said they were only taking to-go orders.
