Hands down, this has to be one of the worst Burger Kings out there. I'm extremely understanding to the plight of fast food workers as I work in food and bev myself so, for me to feel compelled to take time to review a Burger King and go into detail about my grievances with this location, I'd have to have been given exceptionally bad service.
I visited this location earlier this week. After more than 20 minutes in the drive thru, I was given my drinks with no straws and asked to pull forward. 15 minutes later, I was given some of my food. My Whopper, which was plain with cheese, was loaded and I was missing a fry. I brought the Whopper back, reiterated twice that it was with cheese and was brought a Whopper with no cheese. A young gentleman from the back came to help me the third time and made me another Whopper with cheese and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very polite and truly the highlight of my visit. In the meantime, two other customers came to the door because they had problems with their orders.
Finally, after 47 minutes, I received my order in its entirety. But it doesn't end there. Once I got home, I discovered the inside of the bun on my chicken sandwich was burned black- Not exaggerating, it was literally black- and the remake fries were so oversalted that I can't help but feel the act was retaliatory because the other fries were perfectly fine.
It's hard to find a Burger King in this area nowadays so, I really hope the management makes an effort to improve the state of things. I can't imagine this location being able to stay in business much longer if this is how they regularly operate (and from the looks of other reviews, it...
Read moreBugs in my food on 15, August 2025 at 4:45 PM. There were no customers eating or ordering inside the restaurant. There appeared to be no cars at the drive-through. I ordered my food through the drive-through and was sent around the building to wait outside 10 minutes before my order of one cheeseburger and one double cheeseburger was delivered to me. I opened my cheeseburger. And took two bites. Then I noticed on the rapper was a dried out dead insect that had been wrapped inside the burger wrapper. It was the most disgusting experience that I’ve ever had. And I think I now understand why all of the Burger King restaurants around Charleston have been systematically being closed. The service was friendly, but incredibly slow despite it not being a very busy time of day and the restaurant is not appearing to be busy inside or outside at all. Most importantly there was an insect in my food, which is absolutely unacceptable. I will never order from another Burger King for the rest of my life. The manager and employees of this restaurant should be ashamed by what they’re serving to customers who are paying their hard earned money to be served food that you would not give an animal in a...
Read moreThis was not a good visit at all. The line at the drive through should have been a hint, but I had to have a Whopper! There are only a few left in the Charleston area, so when I saw this one, YES!! When I got to the speaker, there was no acknowledgement of my being there, so I said hello several times. There was no response so I drove up, believing the speaker was broken. After sitting in the line and still not moving, I called the restaurant. The person who answered apologized and said they were backed up, so I could go back to the speaker. Following her directions I returned and waited, and waited. I started with the hello again. The young lady replied, yes. I asked could I place my order, she says she didn't know anyone was there! What was my error? After the order she told me drive up and she will bring it out to me. Still happy to have my whoppers, my destination was 5 minutes away so I was good. As soon as I arrived I washed my hands, grabbed my bag and sat down to eat. I heated up my cold Whopper and added the cheese I paid for and mayonnaise I requested. Maybe another day it would be...
