We chose Cafe Eugenia to host the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding last month and could not have been happier! Since the reception was to be held at the Seabrook Island Club, we wanted a different kind of dining experience for the night before. As soon as he saw the bright and open, yet cozy interior of Cafe Eugenia, my husband knew its ambience was perfect for the relaxed and social evening we wanted.

Chef Bea was wonderful to work with; she put together a wine selection, charcuterie and dinner menu that wowed everyone, from recent graduates to grandparents (32 guests). The fresh, light, Mediterranean-influenced offerings were refreshing in the June heat. Local fruits, vegetables, herbs and shrimp highlighted the menu selections.

The staff provided top notch service from the moment we arrived. From informed wine recommendations to their attentive yet relaxed assistance, we felt their commitment to making this gathering memorable for our family and friends. Fresh flowers adorned the tables. Ample food was provided and appetizers and charcuterie trays were replenished promptly. WIth four entree selections, everyone's tastes were accommodated.

We searched many potential venues in the Kiawah/Seabrook/ Johns Island area before finding exactly what we hoped for in Cafe Eugenia. It made a strong impression on our guests, who commented throughout the rest of the weekend -- and beyond -- on their delicious and enjoyable evening. Cafe Eugenia is a jewel! We highly recommend Chef Bea and her staff to anyone seeking a unique private venue for...

First time going to Café Eugenia and WOW this is the shop Freshfields at Kiawah needed!! The staff was SO great: kind, welcoming, and effecient. The location is perfect with outdoor seating to enjoy the lake view. The zuchinni bread and baguettes were yummy. I wanted the other pastries too, but needed to save room for my chicken salad sandwich which was OH MAN, flavor on flavor! The cold brew is strong, the frozen Rosè is beyond refreshing, and the non alcoholic drink options were great too. There is something for everyone. They have really interesting (not tacky) gifts you can buy too. As a wine drinker I was especially pleased with their selection. Can't...

Café Eugenia is on the other side of the main street facing the water. The outside tables offer a nice view of the water across the street, while the inside is cozy with fresh flowers and throw pillows.

The whole Cafe is set up and a really cute way and is very clean... Including the bathroom! The menu is extensive with too many amazing options to choose from. My daughter and I shared a Meat Quiche, heated. It was thick and tasty. We were tempted by all the treats from the bakery side (including many vegan and gluten free options), but I had a vanilla Cortada and my daughter had caramel steamed milk.

I will definitely...

Stopped by Café Eugenia and had an iced vanilla latte along with a dark chocolate cookie—both were a great treat! The latte was smooth and refreshing, with just the right touch of vanilla, and the cookie had a rich chocolatey flavor that paired perfectly with the coffee. The café has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind. The service was friendly, and the location is perfect for a quick stop or a leisurely coffee break. Definitely a spot worth visiting on Kiawah Island!
