A storm came up and we couldn't get into Charleston. We called Bohicket and they told us they could fit us onto their fuel dock. They then called back and said they worked it out to give us a slip. Everyone was friendly and helpful getting us docked. The marina itself is somewhat sheltered, which was nice during 35 knot winds. The marina has fuel, pump out service, showers (nicer than many I've visited) and laundry. We do recommend bringing quarters, since the laundry is coin operated and there are no change machines to be found. It also has an ice cream shop, restaurant (Salty Dog Cafe), bar (Fischer's Pub), and ship shop. It is a short walk to a village center with groceries, banks, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!

This was a little gem with lots of wildlife. The people who worked here were very accommodating. They even called our last day before giving away our spot. The T heads were a bit noisy due to the strong currents on the river, but it was well protected for the 45 Knot winds that we had to deal with. It is not close enough for an Uber ride to Charleston, but if the Charleston marinas are full, this is a great backup. John's Island had a grocery store and many cute shops. We really enjoyed the area. Decent parking lot as well. The outdoor restaurant had live music every night, and it was good music, not loud and penalizing. I would go back to it again.

The facilities are of good quality. The location is less than a mile from a very nice shopping area. The restaurant next door has live music. The river is a good anchorage. My only complaint is the high fee to park a dinghy. They ask $20. The fee is the most we ever paid in five years of cruising the East Coast, Caribbean, and Gulf Coast. Maybe they want to encourage boaters to take a slip instead of anchoring.

We went to Seabrook island to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. We booked 2 fishing boats via Bohicket to accommodate all our friends. With the pandemic going on at the time not everyone could make it and had to cancel the 2nd boat BUT we still wanted to instead schedule the boat at a different time so that we didn’t lose our $$$ and still help the captains. We had a couple nurses and pharmacy techs that just couldn’t leave at the time. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating and we had to pay in full and cancel our entire 2nd boat instead of rescheduling for a 2nd day and time. I totally understand the need to stand your ground and pay the captains but not being accommodating in this time of need is so crazy to me, I understand nobody asked for this Covid-19 however, be a human and work with people. Again, totally happy to pay but very disappointed in the lack of hospitality. Maybe we would have had better luck working directly with the captains and not through the marina. They may have been more willing to work with us. Just an FYI in case of emergency. Spend your...

Bohicket Marina Village is a beautiful destination if you are looking for quiet southern living at its best! The marina is not a great place to store your boat though! I have stored my boat there for 3 years and the first 2 years, my boat was well taken care of and still looked brand new! I went to pick it up a month ago and it was in terrible condition! Rubber molding was laying on the deck of boat, there are rust stains all over my boat and I bought it brand new! It has literally, taken me 3 days of pressure washing and purchasing different products to try and and make the boat look good again! I know The marina has been sold and I hope the new owners are more cognizant of the...
