The Co-Op Gourmet Sandwiches — Restaurant in South Carolina

I ordered the vegetarian sandwich and it was delicious. Nothing to complain about with flavors or size of sandwich. The method in which you receive your order is an employee calling a first name. The service and atmosphere was knocked due to this. My name is common and was called three times. My elderly father kept thinking it was our meal and the employee was quite rude from the start about going to retrieve your meal when you hear your name and it’s the wrong name. The issue isn’t the customer grabbing the wrong meal it is the operation. Obviously many people have similar names and when we go to grab a meal when our name is called it’s best to not be rude to your customers when your own system is failing. They have inside seating although it is limited. Very claustrophobic. Great meal. If you’re looking for a nice sandwich I’d recommend this restaurant. Unfortunate experience we had but it seemed like normal operations for this joint. Expect a fast pace give me your money here is your food...

My family ate at the Co-Op every single morning of our vacation. The girls are so helpful, friendly, and warm to welcome you into their establishment. One of our son’s had an odd order and every morning they would put the order in while laughing with me at the requested sandwich. The food was served quickly. It was always hot , fresh and delicious. We are grateful for their gracious attitudes and awesome sense of humor. They certainly added to the joy of our vacation and for that, we will return again and again. Great job, Co-Op! You certainly know how to make a customer feel appreciated and welcome. See you next summer!⛱️💖

my wife and I and my in-laws visited the Co-op in Kiawah this past weekend. . the food was phenomenal. The sandwiches and salads came out so beautiful and hearty I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth and then some.. My wife kept going on and on about her salad and how beautiful and tasty it was. she loved it so much she took one home for the following day. Courtney and Amanda took great care of us even despite the fact we came in 5 minutes before closing. You could tell Courtney really loved her job and loved making sure her customers were taken care of. Amanda was very friendly and welcoming to us all.
