OK, I try not to leave a ton of reviews for numerous reasons. I don’t have anything bad to say about the delivery guy because he was very nice, and I really don’t think he was the one to blame. That being said… I ordered a pepperoni pizza, a Philly cheesesteak, And a buffalo chicken pizza with ranch sauce extra buffalo sauce. The order was estimated per the Domino’s online delivery tracker to take 38 minutes for delivery.. it took 20 minutes for the tracker to list my pizza as having been in the status of “quality check”. As of 5:48 PM…. I tried calling in at 6:27 because it said that it was still being quality checked. The next step, of course is delivery on your website. No answer……At 6:38 I called in to make sure my pizza had not been sitting for 50 minutes after having finished being cooked. Your employee indicated he doesn’t handle that part and doesn’t know the answer. about 10 minutes later I got the text message saying that my delivery driver was pulling up. I checked your pizza tracker and it said that he had left as of 6:31 PM. Which of course is odd, considering I called well after that period of time and it didn’t say that then.. Pizza was delivered at approximately 6:40 PM, over an hour after the order was placed in approximately 22 minutes after the estimated time of delivery. That would not have been a big deal if the food order was at at least proper. Your delivery driver was very friendly and handed me my order. I brought it inside and my order was not only cold, but there was no buffalo sauce, no ranch sauce on the buffalo chicken pizza, the buffalo pizza crust was ash, and the Philly cheese steak had less than an ounce of ashes that I assume were the “steak.” So in short, I don’t really know who’s to blame, and I don’t really care who in your organization is at fault. Punctuality was lacking, the quality of the food for what your restaurant’s reasonable expectation is (which isn’t that high to begin with) was very poor, and my order was wrong. This is bad all around. I tried to message you all on your website, but that doesn’t work either. Shocker. Placed an almost 95.00 order today and was profoundly disappointed with it. Two of the three pizzas were fine. The 3rd a pacific veggie pizza had only cheese. Not a single vegie was on it, and this “specialty pizza” was 21.00. As well I ordered (and was billed) two marble brownies, and then received only one. Asked the delivery guy (very nice guy) about the second and he said they only sent one. Tried to reach out for help, first online, and then a call to the store. My only option was a free 2 topping pizza coupon (or a 20% off coupon). Disappointing that I paid 21.00 for a wrong specialty pizza and get a 9.99 2 topping result. Even worse, however was the call to the store. My intention was to ask for credit on the 2nd marble brownie that I didn’t get. The end result? I held for ten (10) minutes and finally hung up as no one answered my call being on hold. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. We have always appreciated Dominoes in the past however the last two experiences were marginal and this experience unacceptable. Will sever my being a loyal patron after such a failure to care about the business and the customers needs. I highly recommend, if you’re shopping for pizza, you consider all the options, of which there are many. Your order will be a gamble in accuracy, and you still get billed for something you never received. Above all their customer service just doesn’t exist. Perhaps you’ll have better luck. Read moreThe Dominos Pizza located at 1777 Main Rd Unit B, johns Island, SC 29455 is the worst Domino's Pizza Ever! Would give zero stars or even minus stars if possible! I moved here from Akron, Ohio area about 2 months ago where I frequented Domino's regularly. The first time I tried this location, was about a week ago. I tried to phone in my order, after being on hold for 8 minutes, somebody picked up the phone and promptly hung up.
I tried to call back but no body answerd. Because it's so close (3 minute drive) to my place, I decided to just drive over and wait.
After waiting 15 minutes for the order, I drove to the pick up window, got the food and headed home - the pizza was absolutely cold and the chicken Alfredo had so little sauce that only the very top pasta noodles had covered. So, I chalked it up to a bad Sunday night.
Today - Feb 3, 2021 - I again stopped in to place my order and wait. Today, the plain cheese pizza is so tough it is barely edible. The Italian sandwich meat was burnt to a crisp, giant onion & pepper pieces were also burnt but weirdly enough still crunchy? The sandwich was totally dry - even after adding my own lettuce and salad dressing it was still not edible. It all went in the trash!
I really do not appreciate getting mediocre service and $15 worth of non-edible food!
Never going back here - will drive the other end of Bees Ferry road Rt 61 and go to the Pizza Hut and get great food for less money.
I'm really disappointed and disgusting with this location - it needs to really have someone do a major overhaul on the management and the personnel.
