I walked in and looked the menu over to see what I wanted. Meanwhile an employee kept looking at me as if he were waiting for me to decide on my order. When I found what I wanted, I stood there waiting for him to come take my order( about 2 or 3 minutes) when it was clear he wasn’t coming over, I looked around and saw a kiosk, so I placed my order for 5 Snakin Bacons. After a few minutes, he came over a said they only had 4 left, to which I replied “ ok, I’ll take the four. He said “Ok” then just stood there, so I said “ I would like my money back for the one I didn’t get”. After a minute he said “Would you like a donut?” I said “ No thank you, I will just take the money”. He said he was not authorized to give money back. I said “May I speak to the manager,” and he said there was no manager. I asked to just speak to who ever was in charge. He looked at the other employee, then said there was nobody in charge. I said “So now what?” He said “ Would you like a donut? This is where I lost it ( I admit I became immature at this point) I said, in a raised voice, “I don’t want a donut, I just want my F——-ing money back! You sold me 5 items and could only supply me with four, I want my money back! If you would have walked over and taken my order in the beginning, you could have told me you didn’t have enough, and there would not have had any of this drama!” At this point, the other employee. Read moreI am a frequent visitor of several dunkin donuts locations here in SC, NY and many other states as I travel often. I am also typically a sole user of mobile ordering/order ahead since it was titled "on the go" ordering unless the franchise does not offer the rewards program. I seem to often run in to many problems at this location. Long lines, then not having the items that you placed an order for and paid for, not being offered comparable items, not knowing how to generate the receipt for mobile orders and today, the associate tried to tell me that because I placed a mobile order that I do not get a paper receipt. I always receive a paper receipt and at some locations, it has adhesive that allows it to stick to the outside of the product ordered. I informed the individual that I always get a receipt. She tried to lie and argue that mobile orders don't get them, because the receipt is through mobile. She then said she threw it in the garbage. I asked her to get it and she said she wasn't going to go in the trash to get it. I told her that I would just hold up the drive thru line until she did, because why would she throw it out. She said she did not care and closed the drive thru window. I put my vehicle in park and waited. She then returned approximately 10 seconds later with the balled up receipt and dropped it in my hand. This is definitely not the first time a location has tossed the receipt. Either their apologetic and I let it go, or they just go get the receipt. Today I went through the drive through and ordered a vanilla bean Coolatta; I had to repeat my order twice to the gentlemen taking my order and then was asked again what flavor I wanted. I proceed to the window, and a woman came with my order- NOT AT ALL WHAT I ORDERED- she had a coffee based BROWN Coolatta in her hand when I repeated that I ordered a vanilla bean which is white she tried to argue with me stating that they did not have that, informed I had just ordered one previously and she then said no you ordered the mocha bean Coolatta I informed no I ordered the vanilla bean, as she kept arguing with me i asked her if the vanilla bean was not available why was I not informed before i came to the window, she said I don't know but its discontinued. I informed her that her attitude was unnecessary and pulled away.
