Had great reviews and wanted crab legs, decided to give it a try. I thought we were being punked. The service was extremely slow and inexperienced. The hushpuppies that were brought t o our table had been sitting as they were cold, hard and greasy. We were told that they were out of crab legs, it was around 5 o' clock on Saturday afternoon. So we ordered 25 wings as someone's meal and someone else's appetizer. The server came later and told us they only had 22 wings and asked if that was ok. When the food finally came after waiting at least 40 minutes after we ordered, the server served the food one dish at a time. So we were all waiting for everyone to get their food before eating. My husband ordered the "10oz" burger that appeared to be 2 small previously frozen patties of some kind, not anywhere near being 10oz and appetizing. The wings were not any where near being cooked properly, being bright red near the bone. Luckily, no one had bitten into the chicken wings. Their "famous shrimp" appeared to be previously frozen, small and very sub standard. I ordered a pick your own combo, flounder, shrimp and crab cakes. The price was $20.95. What I got was a very small previously frozen piece of fish that was greasy and hard, the small shrimp that was hard and greasy and 2 round fried, greasy, thin "crab cakes", previously frozen. I told the server that we were very displeased with the quality of the food and we were leaving, please get the manager. The manager came over, o told him everything I mentioned above, he replied "oh, ok". The restuarant was very dirty, should have taken that as a clue to what was to come. The furniture was...
Read moreJust ate here, completely disgusted with the service and the food. We went for the all you can eat crab legs, which they advertise but obviously dont have. When we asked the waitress about it she initially said you dont want them they're awful & doughy and everyone always sends them back. But since I've told you they're bad if you get them you cant send them back. So we was like okay whatever give us a minute to find something else. So then she comes back & we order the surf n turf meal and ask about just getting a lb of crab legs and she says "we dont have crab legs we havent had them in two years. They're too high." Then she smirked and walked off. So then our food came and she told us they didnt have A1 steak sauce so maybe Heinz 57 or ketchup would do us. Then my friend didnt get the baked potato that was ordered as a side so I brought it to the waitresses attention and she said uh you didnt get a baked potato as she waved her finger in our face (the baked potato was on my receipt that she had wrote when we went to check out). The bacon wrapped shrimp that's advertised to be stuffed with blue crab was stuffed with stove top stuffing no crab meat what so ever (obviously it's too high) & it's being falsely advertised, so at this point I'm fed up. the steaks were like chewing on shoe soles & mine was still cool to the touch. It was not worth the 18.75 for each plate. A 50$ meal that wasnt worth feeding to my dog! The waitress Lyon or lynn whatever her name was obviously needs some training in the customer service department. This was truly an awful experience! Save your time & money & go...

I haven't found much that I didn't love on the menu... and, seriously, I've tried about all of it. Kelly normally waits on us and she's great; she knows "my usual" by heart... that is... until I go and throw her off with another delicious venture through the menu!
The lunch specials are fantastic: good food and a great price for home cookin'! Fried shrimp with cocktail sauce (I know... you're thinking... where's the tartar? It's fine, but the cocktail is where it's at)! Fresh fried okra, mac n cheese, Cole slaw! Sometimes it's hard to choose between surf or turf and Im sure that's why they have the best of both worlds (fried or grilled) with combos like chicken, pork chop or sausage with shrimp and 2 sides. They can even do a deconstructed lowcountry boil by making a few quick substitutes to lunch specials priced between $7-9!
The major problem I have here is choosing what to order because the selection is so extensive and it's all just so delish! I come from a family of pit masters, so barbeque is hard to impress me and I'm pretty picky about my red rice and blackeyed peas, so if I had to choose a "room for improvement" I think that's where it lies for me personally.
Parking can be limited because they fill up quickly for the lunch crowd, so just be aware. But, make sure you come with your appetite as the portion sizes are great for...
