Famulari's Pizzeria: West Ashley — Restaurant in South Carolina

Last night was the girlfriends birthday and after a good game of kickball she requested that we get Famulari's pizza. I called them up at 7:30 and was placed on hold. I waited on hold for 5 minutes. My phone battery was just about dead so I hung up and waited a few minutes and called back. This time I was hung up on immediately.

We got the hint Famulari's, you no longer want us as customers. This hurts because we enjoyed your food very much. We will now have to travel farther to get decious pizza from Fiore's.

Hire a better manager that can train staff to answer phones correctly and give correct times for pick up. It was a standing rule in this house that whatever pick up time Famulari's gives, double it. There is no worse feelimg than waiting in a restaurant smelling pizza when you are really hungry and watching 4 people hanging out in the kitchen with no urgency to getting the orders completed.

Sadly I must give a 1-star review, which I seldom do. The food is good, but the service has been terrible the past 3 times we have ordered pick-up from the W Ashley location. I did not want to write this review and even emailed the location to try to solve the issue but have yet to receive a response (it's been over 2 weeks now). So here I am to tell you that you would be better off ordering from another establishment that can get your order correct and made on time. Each of the 3 times I ordered online, I was called after order to tell me my order would be longer than the website quoted. Ok, no worries. I show up at the new time as told and EVERY SINGLE TIME had to wait an additional 10-15 min to get my food. This is unacceptable and I tried to get a response prior to posting this review but I guess they don't really care unless you post a negative review. Their loss as I will be spending my money...

Do not order from here. Instead order from Paisanos. If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered wings and a chicken avocado wrap. Originally it was a 2 hour wait, we said that’s odd but we will wait. We got a call 45 min later saying it will be ready 15 min. Went to go pick it up, I ended up not getting it until our original pick up time, which was a hour wait time from when I was told to come get it. They comped the wrap, but that is very unprofessional. Best part is while I was there, 8 people came in and ordered a large pizza. They got the pizza, ate it, and left before I got my wrap and wings. To make it worse, the food was incorrect once I got home.

While I was waiting there, I overheard people complaining that the owner refuses to hire extra help to meet the increase in demand.
