Absolutely mortifying. Every single time that I've gone there (6 times in about 3 months), I have had to wait for more than 15 minutes, whether drive-through or in-house. After said wait, more than five times I have had to return the food because something was wrong with it. I do not ask for special orders, but they somehow have figured out how to screw regular orders up, and without fail it is cold and sloppy.
I actually once got a Mcchicken sandwich without chicken on it. I cannot make this up.
This is pretty much the only fast food that is really close to where we live. It is more a shame, because when I was growing up this McDonald's was the neighborhood McDonalds. They gave jobs to my friends and people I was around. The food was decent. I have great memories of going to that playground, riding my bike through the neighborhood, and using the water fountain that used to be there. Some of the vacant stares (if eye contact was made) that I've gotten when asking simple menu questions is astounding. It does not seem like these people really have anything along the lines of drive or even basic motor skills. I have been in foodservice for 25 years, and there is no excuse for the absolute lack of skill, care, coordination, and competence I have been given wrapped up in a puddle with sticky ketchup packs ( [IF THEY HAVE ANY] after being denied the first request, and having to return and ask for it) from here. I have also NEVER
Read moreI worked here in 2021. First time ever working for the corporation but it was an experience I'll never forget. I had no idea just how busy McDonald's really is and it non stop! What I liked about working here was there was never a dull moment. You're constantly meeting and greeting new people. There is opportunity to learn and advance is youre interested and motivated. I loved my employee meal as I was able to receive every shift I worked. Drinks are unlimited to employees so I got silly off of HI-C alot! 🙂 The sprite is a must! I want to specifically let JOEY & DANIELLE know you two were probably the best two people I've ever worked for and with. All around hands down the best management I've ever encountered and supervisory from Danielle. Joey is outstanding & is probably one of the most professional, nicest, hardworking persons I've encountered and Danielle is always positive and outgoing. She really made me enjoy working there with her. Derrick was a delight to work with as well! Just wanted to come through and give you 5 stars for being the first and best McDonald's I've been employed at and have eaten at. I still come eat here alot. Now I do wanna pinpoint and this is just for safety be careful coming in and out of the entrance across from Walmart and that stop light. It's a dangerous 🛣️ road and accidents can be frequent. The entrance needs to be a little more safe because you have people trying to cut in line from two directions with no advisory so it can be a little traffic halt right there in the road. Otherwise it's a great place....
Read moreWe stopped for Happy Meals after a late kid's soccer game. There were 6 total customers queued to order, including us. The one register that was open tried to get the line down quick, and the service suffered because of it. No greeting, no repeating of the order, no pleasantries. The order came out in a reasonable time, however, the quality of the food left much to be desired. Of the 4 Happy Meals, 2 received the old, limp, soggy fries, while 2 were lucky enough to get a fresher batch. The McNuggets were the typical slightly dried out and leathery version we've all come to expect. The one child who opted for a burger didn't fare much better. They always order with extra pickles, which usually means a freshly made burger. This evening, while the condiments, toppings, and bun were fresh, the patty itself was not even slightly warm. As for the apples that all 4 children received, the slice-per-bag count ranged from 3 (honestly) to 8. Quite a random sampling. One shining light - the chocolate milk WAS on point
As for the tables, mostly dirty, uncleaned, and sticky. No big deal, just go grab some sanitizer wipes and do it yourself. Oh, but the dispenser is empty. Along with the ketchup pump. And the Sprite. Yep. Add in the full trash cans, loud and unprofessional kitchen conversations, and the endless stream of people coming inside from the drive-thru with incorrect orders, and this ended up being another average, yet very common,...
