Nagano Japanese Hibachi Express — Restaurant in South Carolina

Honestly, this is the worst experience I have ever had ordering from a restaurant. I made the big mistake of placing the order online. I immediately called them to say that I wanted to get the dinner Bar B Qued but I didn’t see it as an option. They literally said ok and hung up on me. I got there and the lady yelled at me. They acted as if they had no clue what I was talking about. Yelled at each other. Then, looked at me with a disgusting look basically saying they don’t speak English & can’t understand a word I am saying. Then, after 3-4 min of this they said we don’t BBQ. I said ok then. The lady yelled at me again and I still have no clue what she said either time. The Man & the day both continued to yell at each other speaking a different language. I’m not sure if it was Japanese but if it was it was a dialect I’m not familiar with. I said ok did u out a fork in the bag she pointed at the counter and guess what was sitting on the Comintern? The hot sauce you use to BBQ. So I’m not sure what that is about. I do not recommend this place at all. I am left in utter confusion still sitting in my car out side the restaurant trying to process what just happened. I really can’t wrap my brain around the encounter I just had. I felt like I was for sure in some foreign country & they didn’t welcome outsiders & especially not Americans. The place is sketchy as hell too. Very good, always good and excellent quick and very nice customer service from the woman who always runs the check out counter. The food is very tender, melts in your mouth without being over cooked. I like their style of habachi chicken, it’s cut thin with very generous portions and is cooked perfect every time. Shrimp is also never over cooked and always perfect, I can never finish it and I can eat a lot! I also like the style of white sauce and teriyaki glaze that they use, it’s not over baring and it has great flavor. I don’t feel sick like eating food with sauce that’s too thick and caked on like the other places. And the meat is always seasoned very well unlike a lot of other places. This is a unique style of habachi that they have made their own and if your tired of the same old generic fast food habachi try this place. I’ve never had a bad experience all these years and at a time when places are scimping on ingredients, they are doing the opposite and loading up your plate to feed those who are working long hours in the socastee and surrounding area! If there was no starts I would have choose that. Watch out they over charge you and forget your food that you order. Today I called in an order and when my husband got home with the order again food was missing (happens often). I drove back up there to get it after calling explaining to them they forgot a sushi roll. They said ok yes come pick up. Once I got there I sent my 16 year old son in to grab it. They were yelling and arguing with him so I got out of my car and went in. They continued screaming at me I no pay for roll. My total was 36.87. If you look at the menu for what we got as to what we paid for you tell me. Here's my order. : steak bowl 7.29, hibachi noodles and shrimp 7.99, 2x California roll 3.75 each, 1 shrimp tempura roll 4.75, and one side of vegetables 3.50....grand total 31.02 before Tax (8%). Ok so you didn't give me my sushi roll you just over charged me instead. WATCH YOUR TOTALS THEY ARE OVER...
