The visit started out with them being very slow. But when I went to pay, I paid for our subs then asked the lady how much 3 cookies were. She said 1.99. So I ordered them and the sub total was 2 37 plus .21 in tax. I asked her why it rang up 2.37 and not 1 99 like she had said. She said it's how the registrar rang them up. There was a HUGE line behind me and it wasn't alot of money so I just moved on. Once the line was gone, I went up and asked why I was charged more. A younger guy was at the registrar and the lady was fixing the subs. She told the guy to ring it in and it's just the way it rang up. He rang it in and it was 2.17 total. I asked him to refund the extra .40 because she rang in the cookies individually and not as 3. She stopped making the subs and yelled at me saying she offered a receipt but I refused it. I told her we said nothing of the recpeit but she didnt offer it on the cookies just the sub (I did say I didn't want it for the subs). She then continued to be very rude. I told her I wasnt accusing her of anything and it's not a lot of money bit it's just the point it was rang up wrong. The guy refused to give me a refund because no receipt . I told him it was just 3 transactions before the last but it's not worth the time, again its just the point. The lady continue to talk very loudly at me while there was 2 pol waiting in line. I just sat down to finish eating my sub. And literally she talked about me for 5 mins as I was finishing my sub. I don't care about the .40 cents but instead of her saying she made a mistake the way she reacted and talked about me (a customer) was ridiculous and not called for. She embarrassed me in front of other customers and was not called for. She made a simple mistake but instead of saying she was sorry and moving on she acted like a child. I love subway, but will never visit that store again. Linda was the worker and she was an older lady. She should know how to act as an employee and never treat a customer as she did with me. It's sad that she was ok with being rude and unprofessional over a very simple mistake. She needs to go back and learn...
Read moreEvery time I walk into the Subway in Lake Wylie, SC, I already know I’m in for a treat. The bread? Soft like a cloud. The veggies? Crisp and fresh like they just leapt off the farm. I’ve never had a bad experience—not once. But this last visit? Oh, it swung to a whole new level!
Why? Because I had the honor of being served by none other than the Amazing Peter Parker. And no, not that Peter Parker (wink wink)—but close enough! Let me tell you, this guy didn’t just make a sandwich; he crafted a masterpiece with superhero-level speed and precision. I half-expected him to climb the wall afterward and save the city between toasting my bread and wrapping it up with care.
He greeted me with genuine energy, made me laugh, and turned what’s normally a quick lunch stop into the highlight of my day. So here’s my friendly neighborhood review: if you’re anywhere near Lake Wylie, do yourself a favor and swing by this Subway—and if Peter Parker is working, you’re in luck! Just don’t ask him to shoot webs, he’s clearly saving those skills for sandwich-making.
10/10—will definitely be back for another...
Read moreNormally I wouldn’t leave a negative review but I’m so sad in my spirit because I literally wasted $10.00 today. I wanted to grab a sandwich and have a picnic at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. I ordered a vegetarian sub and requested the chipotle sauce on the side. I was highly disappointed when I unwrapped the package. The bread was hard, cold, not room temperature but cold. It did not appear to have been freshly made today. It didn’t taste fresh.
The chipotle sauce was in the sandwich and not on the side as requested, and the sauce made part of the bread soggy and I absolutely HATE wet, soggy bread! That is why I asked for it on the side.
The bread that wasn’t soggy crumbled all over me with the few bites I took. I looked into the bag to grab a napkin… not ONE napkin was in the bag! I can’t make this up! I looked around for a candid camera, because this was insane. Thank God, I carry hand wipes in my car so I was able to use that. When I tell you I was over it! I balled up the wrapper and tossed the sandwich! I will not go back to that...
