I LOVE Tideland! Their brews are fantastic! My favorite is the vanilla porter. This is the best vanilla porter I've tried anywhere. We had to bring home a growler of it. They have an excellent variety, with a great selection of darker brews, which I love. Everything I've tried is full of flavor, but their sours are nicely balanced, not over the top like some.
And the food... wow! I can not say enough good things about the truffle mac and cheese! I had it as a side with my falafel burger on my first visit. Read moreTideland was nothing less than outstanding!!! I have nothing but good things to say about it. Tideland was the first brewery/restaurant that my girlfriend and I visited in SC, and it definitely set the scene up right for the entire state. When we walked up to the bar we were instantly met with unwavering kindness and enthusiasm - all the bartenders, servers, and cooks were extremely friendly, and we could tell they put a lot of effort into promoting their brand. Not to mention the food and beer was so unique and delicious! The beers we tried were the Atlantic Amber, All Tide Up, Raspberry Brackish, Banana Hammock, and my personal favorite, the West Coast IPA. They were all exceptional! For food, the alligator sausage and catfish po’boy were to die for. As Washingtonians, we haven’t tasted anything like this and we think it’s a must have at Tideland! The presentation and sides were on point too - I wish we took a picture of it but we scarfed it down too fast! Go try...
