Two Chefs Eastside — Restaurant in South Carolina

I purchased the Valentine's Day Meal for 2, and I can say if you haven't made this purchase, consider it for next year. This is actually the second year for us. This year's menu included a salad, choice of entree (filet with asparagus and Lyonnaise potatoes, or a seafood lasagna), and a dessert. The food was PHENOMENAL! The salad was mixed greens with candied pecans, herbed goat cheese, and strawberries. Not a salad, I thought I would ever order, but it was amazing. My wife and I enjoyed every bite! The dessert of ultimate chocolate layer cake and chocolate dipped strawberries was delightful! The instructions to reheat were wonderful, and we got to enjoy a quiet Valentine's Day with each other with no pressure to make a reservation. Have eaten many meals here, this one was awful on my end. Husband had just finished radiation and needed to get him out to enjoy a great lunch after the restrictions of his diet for 28 treatments. Had always had a positive experience here but today was different. The sandwich I usually get was not available anymore so I opted for a turkey and mozzarella. Tried to pick up the sandwich and there was so much liquid coming out of it that I could not eat it. Went to the counter to see if they would make it edible…didn’t happen! Got a to go box and brought it home, after pulling off salad mix and thickly sliced tomatoes, my dog really enjoyed it. I love 2 Chefs. Always a great place to catch up with a friend over lunch. BUT NEVER. NEVER. DO NOT GET THE SIDE PORTIONS. I've been feeling a little broke lately and didn't want to spend the regular 10 dollars for a salad sampler, so, I decided to get a side of chicken salad. I got a size large, as there is no medium and the small was dixie cup size. I kid y'all not this side cost TEN DOLLARS. And this container is not big... Worst part is my sister got just about the same amount of chicken salad on her own 10 dollar plate... with an additional 2 sides on a bed of greens. Needless to say I am pretty DEVASTATED. The chicken salad was delicious as usual but has left me feeling ripped off and hurt. Do not make the same mistake...
