Read moreSo, I'm from Germany, and actually lived in Munich for 20 years. But by far I realy can't say that curry wurst is anything near by how we serve them in Germany. It's not only ketchup on a sausage, it's curry ketchup heated and added with curry powder inside and on top, if so wished. The real curry wurst is a white flavored pork sausage, (not a white Bavarian sausage, which is only eaten in the mornings, served in a bowl of warm water and covered, that's not the sausage to make a curry wurst from. My family and I ate there today, which the menues were all different, from halbes Hähnchen to half a pork schnitzel in a bun to the burger with cheese on top of the bun, not in the inside. The half of the schnitzel was first of all dry, barley no gravy, indeed only one mushroom was to be seen. We had to order additional sauce in order to get the meat a bit more tender and to gave it more taste. The fried potatoes were soggy and not crispy like they supposed to be, on top we do add fried onions and some smoked bacon to really give it that rich full taste. That was not the case here. But the french fries were outstanding and I ordered a second time around. The half of chicken was good, but the Spätzle were without any taste at all, not even a bit of salt, simply tasteless. This is also not how you prepare Spätzle. And coming from the south in Germany, meaning the owers Hans & Franz, they know how they should be made. I'm aware of the fact that you can't serve German food one to one here in the states, but it could be done better I know. Over all I have second thought about coming back. The service was OK, the lady had her hands full serving outside and in. I didn't mind getting up to get me some more water myself, were accustomed to that in Germany anyways. But the place itself is worth taking a trip to, there is more then the eyes can catch on the decorations. 🙏 🙏 🙏 Sehr schön ausgerichtet und präsentiert! 👍 👍 By all means try it your self, I'm my worst critic even in Germany. The Biergarten is a lovey place to sit, it reminds me a bit of the south Biergarten. Enjoy your stay out there and make up your own mind and decisions, experience...

This place is a genuine hidden gem, perfectly combining authentic German tradition with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for high-quality German cuisine and a truly impressive beer selection, this is your new go-to spot. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. Housed in a charming old mill building with exposed brick and dark wood accents, the decor immediately sets an "Old World" mood. But the star is the outdoor Biergarten—it’s an awesome space, complete with palm trees that give it a unique, cozy, and slightly tropical flair. Now, for the food: it is unapologetically authentic and absolutely delicious. The German chef, Juergen Haubach, crafts most dishes in-house, and you can taste the care and quality. I highly recommend the Schnitzel (perfectly fried and served with a rich Jaeger sauce) or any of their authentic Wurst options, which are sourced from trusted German butchers. You can’t go wrong with the Sauerbraten either—it’s hearty, flavorful, and exactly what comfort food should be. Everything is rich, full of flavor, and definitely not "wimpy!" To wash it all down, the German beer selection is top-notch. They feature fantastic imports like Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and Gaffel Kölsch on tap, often served in proper German glassware—you can even get a beer boot if you’re feeling festive! The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the all-around great experience. Hans & Franz Biergarten delivers genuine German quality with Southern hospitality. It’s a wonderful spot for a warm meal, a cold beer, and great...
