Possibly the most embarrassing trip to a Waffle House I’ve ever seen. Our waitress Debbie was awful to us and to her coworker. She took our order back wrong atleast 4 times. Finally the other girl who was cooking I believe was named Lexi came over and got our order right. She made our food properly and brought it out to us. Debbie proceeded to yell at her. Got in her face and made a huge scene. Then proceeded to go over to her table of friends and talk trash about her coworker loudly in front of everyone. She threatened to call the manager on her and then did and told the manager there was about to be a fight. Multiple customers left due to Debbie’s yelling and incompetence. She repeatly blamed Lexi for all of her problems. Debbie was talking to her friends throughout the two hours we were there and ignoring plenty of customers. Lexi held herself together very well. I would’ve walked out with the toxic and awfull way she was treated. This happened at #1569 Debbie shouldn’t be allowed to degrade and put down other employees the way she did .I foresee her causing many issues in the future...
Read moreWe were 3 of the 5 total customers in this place with the other 2 already served and we waited a long time for our meals to arrive. Everyone working appeared to be upset about something and couldn't focus on the entire 5 customers. Our food came out at separate times including the bacon which hit the table about 5 minutes after our pancakes. The toast we ordered took almost 20 minutes because the cook walked away after putting the bread in the toaster to make a phone call, several employees walked past the popped toast many times without looking to see it was ready. I told our server that we wanted to cancel the toast and about 5 minutes later the cook finally came back out and started to attempt buttering super cold toast, when the server told him that we didn't want old toast he got angry with the employees for not getting it to us. I wouldn't go here again even if they offered me free food for the rest of my life. They need to keep their fights in the back where customers can't see how unprofessional they are. 2...
Read moreA 5 star waitress and 3 other hard workers are all that is holding this operation together, when they were at full capacity around 11:30 this morning. It was slow to get tables bused, slow to get the food, and the culprit seemed to be one employee, I’m guessing the manager (pictured below) who just stood and watched the staff as if he were evaluating them with a clipboard in hand. In the entire time, he broke his gaze once, getting drinks to help out, while the rest of the staff busted their collective butts trying to juggle their responsibilities. I felt sorry for them. I would ordinarily never go to a waffle house, but they make one great grilled steak and bacon sandwich, which is occasionally worth going there for. I won’t be going back. I hope the manager reads this and understands that at rush-hour it should be all hands on deck, to get his hands dirty.
