Blue Sky Restaurant — Restaurant in South Carolina

For the past couple of years I have driven by this restaurant and wondered what it was like. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, and it just seems like I always drove past it when they were closed. Well, I finally had the chance to eat here today and I am truly glad I stopped in!

Upon arrival, my party was seated promptly. Our server quickly took our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to review the menu. I ordered the grilled chicken lunch special with green beans and rice as my side dishes. Another in my party ordered the pot roast, and one ordered a breakfast dish consisting of eggs, breakfast meats, and hash browns. All of our meals were brought to our table in a very reasonable amount of time and everything was cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were perfect and everything tasted great! Our server was extremely attentive, which made us feel great about our decision to stop here today. To top it all off, 3 of us ate for $40, tip inclusive.

I highly recommend the Spring House Family Restaurant. Great tasting, fresh American cuisine with a hint of southern is how I would describe the type of food served here. Outstanding service and a great value make it a no-brainer. Bring your entire family here and you will be glad you did. I look forward to returning soon for another...

Breakfast. This food is mediocre and definitely will not eat here again. Upon entering there is a bad smell (I told myself we should go somewhere else but didn't listen to my first mind). We were a party of 6. We got seated within 5 mins. We all placed our orders. I ask do bottle water. Waitress goes, "We don't have any"...I continue my order. Then when I questioned why don't they have bottle water she goes, "Someone we run out. I'll bring you out one". I ordered a medium well.steak and recieved a well done steak There was someone else at the table that ordered a well done steak. I asked where's my medium well steak she points i cut into it and it's WELL DONE. She insists it's medium well. To not cause a scene i eat it but didn't finish because i don't care for a well done steak. Someone else at the table orders 3 pancakes and meat. The menu says you get 3 pancakes clear as day. It comes out and its 2 pancakes. Ask waitress about it and she goes "You have to ask for 3 otherwise you get 2". Like really the menu says 3. Again we all eat not to cause a scene. Now it's time for the bill. These people just make up prices and add stuff on without letting the customer know well it's blah blah extra for this and that. Overall the food was mediocre...service was poor and will not...

Just left here after breakfast with my family. Well, at least my family ate breakfast. We were seated in Amber's section. Amber was impolite, pushy, and overall, just made our experience unpleasant. After supporting myself by waiting tables for several years when I was younger, it pains me to trash poor amber by name on a review, but I'm starving, and she made it so I couldn't eat out of the kitchen.... after taking forever to come take our breakfast order, the food comes out in a fairly timely manner. I had just enough time to finish coloring the attached artwork. My order was incorrect, but I was unable to let tweaky Amber know because she sprinted into the kitchen after dropping the food off. When I finally get a chance to let he know about the miscommunication, I'm informed that this is my fault bc she repeated it back to me... maybe she did... I was busy coloring... so whatever, but the other members of my party assured me that I had ordered the hash Benedict Yada yada... Anyway, because of her response and nasty attitude, I didn't feel comfortable eating whatever was coming out of the kitchen next. I'm not saying anything was going to be done to my food, I'm saying that her attitude and behavior made me feel so uncomfortable that I could no longer...
