Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I came here the day of the Bomb threat around 7pm As I walked in a family was sitting and eating and Mr was talking about how cold it was. The heat was not working and my profession is doing hvac work I asked a waitress if I could turn it off because the family was threatening not to pay so she let me go in the back and turn the ac off After that the service was good I got a free meal and they was a table beside me The waitress was so nice to give me a free meal I bought the table next to me They came from Tennessee and was down here doing roofing I surprised them by paying it forward and the men said thank you with tears in both their eyes I return here today and met with my dad I felt good so I brought my own creamer and was listening to heart of gold on my table My grandfather just passed away so the shift came in A man sat at the front and slept eyeballing me I knew then something was up It was the owner his wife was the rudest lady telling me to turn my music down and frowned upon my presence She came back and the. Told me to turn it off this time So I guess she doesn’t comprehend what she told me Anyway after going in the back to help these people and even leaving my card so they could give us a call to fix their heat I saw roaches in the back and a lot even then I still return because I felt I needed to and also my dad goes their almost every evening I can assure u I will tell DHEC about my finding and how ugly y’all really are Spreading the curtain back on this old Waffle House sat in powdersville If I was you I would never step foot in this place...

We got here it was packed , it was late & this was the only place open so late. We have packing up our house all day & we got hungry. We went in & the only open table was dirty still from the last customers & food & dishes etc were all over the table. The only place to sit was at the counter & that wasn't wiped. Our waitress was a little rude & unattentive. Our order wasn't fully correct. A fight broke out between staff & another customer. One waitress was acting strange & kinda talking to herself about people sitting at dirty tables etc. Our waffles were good & the grits weren't lumpy , the sweet tea could've had a little more sugar. I completely drank all my tea while I was eating & it took a long time before any came to refill my tea.The parking lot was so full that my car almost got hit twice. It was almost all teenagers in groups & other than me & my little girl & two or three other customers that's all that was in there. My little girl never got the items she was missing from her order maybe they forgot because they were so busy after we asked them twice. When went to pay the check they didn't take off the items we didn't get & I was still charged for the missing items. The food isn't bad , but if Dennys was closer we probably would've chose Dennys because the service at this waffle house wasn't...

I went in to order takeout. It was pretty busy, but just getting my order in took several minutes. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese hash brown bowl well done with a blueberry waffle. This order took over 45 minutes to complete. I should've checked it before I left, but after waiting so long I was in a hurry. I didn't open it until I was already down the road, and parked for the night. Apparently, what I got was a single order of regular hash browns, scrambled eggs, and toast with a blueberry waffle that I watched the cook toss back and forth in her hands like she was playing a game of hot potato because she didn't get the box first. It was another several minutes to get someone to take my money after they gave me my food. I'm annoyed with myself for not just walking out with it, and that I tipped them on top of the takeout charge. I'm not sure how this is one of the more highly rated Waffle Houses I've seen as this is easily the worst I've...
