KFC — Restaurant in Powdersville

We ordered food online on KFC. Scheduled to pick up next eve at 5:30. Paid and was sent message to pick up at store. We had company coming. My husband went to pick up. Was kept waiting for a long while and was then told he had to come into restaurant. Even though it was all paid. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional and he waited while they kept filling drive thru orders. He spoke up and they said it would be ready soon. What is the point of ordering ahead and setting a pickup time?? He waited over 20 mins! Then drove 10 miles home. Was late for company and we were missing a large side. The original chicken was oily and pasty looking and the coating was all off the pieces. It was disgusting!!! Embarrassing to serve it. Tried to call ....no answer. Answer machine full message! He had to drive all the way back again. He went in and the girl behind counter was mouthing off at a customer who stormed out. She was rude to my husband when he told her and showed her the chicken. She said, " I didn't prepare your food....what do you want me to do!!" He asked for manager, got the hands in the air and eye roll. He asked her for chicken we could actually serve to our guests and our lg side. She was rude too but got chicken and a side. He got home and we had a HALF FULL large coleslaw and chicken that looked a bit better but was very tough ( especially the breasts!) and just not up to KFC taste/quality! Everything tasted off and nothing like we've had at other KFC! We are SO embarrassed to have only had this to serve our guests for dinner!! Complete waste of money! And the employees could not have cared less. They were incredibly rude and uncaring/unprofessional. And it shows in the lousy food they are turning out!! I should have read and heeded the bad reviews and not based out dinner choice on nostalgia for a brand that clearly is no more! Maybe it's just this franchise but it was such an AWFUL experience with staff AND food that I don't think we will ever eat KFC again!! Sad thing is, these people don't care AT ALL that they are rude and make lousy food. They are clearly just there for the paycheck! UPDATE ... Chicken that was "replaced" was inedibly tough and sides were terrible. There was NO effort put into this horrible food. Arrived At 11:20 a m on a weekday. The closest k f c to us has terrible food and service. So we decided to try a different one. This one has the buffet for lunch. First off it took some time before anybody came to the counter to take our order. And when the guy finally made his way to the counter, he couldn't have walked any slower. It was clearly obvious that he didn't want to be there. Which made us feel quite uncomfortable. He spoke no words. He took our order. As for the food, the buffet was nicely laid out, the food looked fresh. However there was only dark meat in both original and extra crispy. I had to ask for wings. Once again he dragged himself over and he gave me two original wings. I then asked for 2 of the extra crispy wings. He seemed to be very reluctant as if this was his and I didn't pay for it. The chicken was excellent. The extra crispy was indeed extra crispy and it was tasty. The original, As we all know, KFC original doesn't taste like. It used to years ago, but still, it had a very good taste to it. Lots of pepper. The mashed potatoes were as I remembered, they were just wonderful as was the cole slaw. And the corn on the cob was perfectly done. So it was a very good meal. However, the service left a lot to be desired. My wife said she would not go back there for that reason, I on the other hand would return but probably for take out. I dared to think what would have happened if I would have asked...

Came in today to get buffet around noon and the employee (shorter black lady) at the front got an attitude with us my wife was talking to me saying hope they put out some original recipe wings the employee saying she would get t in a min again with attitude we told her it’s not a problem we weren’t rushing her well we stood at the buffet waiting and another employee asked what we needed and again just asked for some wings the employee yell back to the employee with the attitude and she screamed back I told them I was coming then mumbled more things she didn’t need to well my daughter didn’t want the buffet just wanted 2 original recipe legs and I didn’t know weather to get it off the buffet so I got it off the buffet then she comes around to me saying you can’t take that off the buffet so I told her I didn’t realize it not like my daughter was getting anything extra I she commenced to tell me how wrong she brought out her 2 chicken legs and I ate the ones I got off the buffet no big deal but her attitude was unacceptable never have had a problem at this location the general manager know us well and she is the best. And also not sure but there was another couple with a child there that she appeared to know never saw them purchase anything but they sure as hell was eatting the buffet done with kfc coronal rolling in his grave...
