DO NOT STOP HERE! We were traveling to Atlanta and decided to stop here after three hours in the car. It was around 8pm on a Friday and despite all the other fast food places in the area being slammed at this time Wendyâs was completely dead. This should have been our first warning but we decided we were feeling this over any of the other stuff we could see. We came up to the counter and the cashier seemed put out with having to take an order even though the place was dead. She was rude throughout the order and even turned to her manager and told her she wasnât bothering to ask people if they were dine in or carry out because âno one is eating in here tonightâ We were since weâd been in the car for the last few hours but thanks for deciding for us. We probably should have heeded her choice because when we went to sit down we suddenly realized how absolutely disgusting this place was. Nearly every table was gross. The condiment area was filthy and poorly stocked. The carpet looked half rotted, stained, and covered in debris everywhere despite the place being totally empty. The rug and tile around the drink machine was sticky and just gross looking. Finally the terrible cashier called me over for our order. When I got there she goes, âwhat did you order cause I have no idea what I put in these bags.â Real vote of confidence in that one. We sat down to eat our food after wiping down a spot. The chicken sandwich was straight up burnt it was so over cooked. While choking down our food one of the ladies came in to the dining area to take a personal call going on about her rent and some other financial issues, just keeping it real professional the whole time. As we got up to leave and weâre walking out one of the women from the kitchen came out and started goofing off/wrestling the cell phone lady. This place should have Dave Thomas spinning in his grave and is doing nothing but brand damage to Wendyâs in an area they could be making a killing with the interstate right there.
Edit 8/30/18- I contacted Wendyâs corporate to let them know how awful this place was. They of course have not contacted back so clearly they donât care. Donât expect this place to...
Read moreThere are not many fast food restaurants that I like for myself or my son but Wendyâs happens to be one that I do. Unfortunately this Wendyâs is not one that I recommend to anyone. I have had quite a few bad visits with them but my last was the worst and the last time they will be getting any of my money. First letâs start with the young adults that work there. They are rude and have no manners. Yes you are in high school but you are still at a place of business and should act accordingly. Next the lines are always long and this time was no different. I understand that places are often busy but the kids that work here tend to play around a lot, especially in the drive through. This last visit I ordered my son a meal and a baked potato for myself. My total was $9.45 I gave the young lady a $20 and received $10.55 back. After waiting in the long drive through line I ended up waiting at the window some more. When the young lady at the window finally came back she reached out the window to hand me $2 without saying anything. I informed her that she had already given me my change and that I was waiting on my food. Her response was âI know we ainât got no more potatoesâ. I then reached for my receipt and she informed me that it was $2.99 and then proceeded to hand me some change. She gave me back exactly $2.99, no tax that I paid on it, no apology, and didnât asked me if I wanted to order something else instead. She did however close the window immediately after giving me the change. When she came back she was handing me food and asking someone in the back if that was all my food. Finally she handed me the food and shut the window. I called the 1-800 number on the receipt and explained what happened. I was told that it would be documented and sent over to someone else. Still no apology that I was not given all of my change or given the opportunity to order something else. I was told that they will do their best to make sure that it does not happen again. Yes I am sure that it was only a few cents that I was shorted but it is the principle of the situation. A simple apology can...
Read moreI went to this location on my lunch break at approx 2:50pm on Tuesday. I went through the drive . Once the person taking my order confirmed my order I asked her could she make sure she puts ketchup in the bag. She felt the need to explain to me she works in front and does not put ketchup in bags. She said she will ask them to put ketchup in the bag. Mind you, though what she said may have bothered me a little it was more how it was said. The tone gave me the impression she will ask but can care less if it happened. My response was thanks for the clarification. Admittedly there was a little sarcasm there. In my defense here, how often is it that we go to fast food resturaunts and have to ask for ketchup or you wont get any. But her next response was worst. It was something to the effect sir you dont want to go there with me, i just went off on a customer earlier. I didn't have to read between the lines here. When did pull forward to the window a young lady approached laughing about my enounter with the employee over the speaker. I asked was that her she said no. Not sure if it was her or not but her voice did not sound the same. I am not saying the customer is always right but I definitely will not tolerate threats from any one. This worker admittedly demonstrated a pattern being confrontational with cutomers by her own admission and obviuosly lacks the patience for the fast food industry. In my opinion should she be terminated. Yes...she is too comfortable with being confrontational with customers. For those wondering how I handled the situation, I simply requested that my order be canceled. Definitely was not going to just drive off but also wasn't going to argue over ketchup. I took my business to a restaurant the appreated me as a customer that day. I also knew I would be getting a chance to write a review here, so here it is. Will I return to Wendy's again. I am sure I will, unfortunately not at this location. Maybe, the Wendy's brand may care about my experience not sure if this...
