I placed my order in the drive thru and paid at 520. The order was for a #1 tossed in hot honey mustard, with a, a #3 boneless with wings in nuclear, fingers in sweet and spicy, and a kiddie finger. After waiting 24 minutes in my car I went in to find out where our food was, had we not already paid I would have gone somewhere else. I was told it would be just another minute and that they only had one cook. There were three front house workers, two in the back, and a manager at that point. I then got my food at 546, 26 minutes after paying. I live 1.5 miles away, a 3-4 minute drive. When I got home the only thing about any of the food that was hot was the kiddie fingers, and it seemed like they came out of the fryer a good five minutes before I even walked in the door. Not a single fry, bread, nor mine or my wife's chicken could be considered "hot" let alone be considered even warm. I've had mints that were hotter after being left in my car on a warm spring day. After taking almost a half hour to get me my food the only thing I could expect was that it would at least be fresh and hot, not cold fries with the rigidity of a basset hound's ears. An absolute waste of almost $30...
Read moreThis Zaxby’s is listed online as closing at 10 PM I pulled up at exactly 905 and I noticed that the restaurant was dark. I went to the drive-through and I had a cone in front of the speaker but they were two cars in front of me so I pulled up to the window. I asked a man did they not close at 10 anymore and told him that it was listed online as closing at 10 PM. His response was no we close at nine. I asked why is The restaurant listed as closing at 10 online and also on the front door of the restaurant. It’s ridiculous for employees to change the times on your own when they know they’re supposed to close at 10 PM. I just went to the same exact Zaxby’s two weeks ago and they were closing at 10 PM and now all of a sudden they close at nine. All of the other Zaxby’s close at 10 in areas so they are supposed to close at 10 but for some reason this particular Zaxby’s has chosen to close at nine instead. Very unprofessional for a business to make its own hours and not have any kind of signage or anything letting people know that they...
Read moreWatched as a single employee - "Jaidon" ruined the evening of several customers. Placed a simple order. 30 minutes later, with a line wrapping now around the building, Jaidon plopped down in a booth. As customers including ourselves asked the where abouts of their food, the poor drive thru employee has to come up front , and nearly beg for him to come and help decipher the chaos he left in his wake. He took his time, strolled, and proceeded to continue to ruin customers evenings. He told the father in front of us they had to "remake" his order. It was never put in to begin with.
As someone who worked food service for decades, my patience is vast.
This however, was one of the worst examples of an employee and service I've ever seen. *Even after the excruciatingly long wait, the order which was repeated a dozen times-was wrong, and the extra items we paid for were left out.
(* Minus the slammed staff in the kitchen, and the employee working drive...
