Zorba East Lounge — Restaurant in South Carolina

We’ve had girls night here a few times. It’s actually “our spot” to comfortably get away from downtown bar hopping. Jessica the bartender tonight we’ve never delt with before. She wouldn’t take my ID because it was bent. It’s been bent for 4 years, even TSA has taken it. This was the first time ever being refused. Being an alcohol server myself, I understand the rules and precautions. But her attitude about it was extremely unprofessional and she even went as far to call whiskeys to “warn them” of a “fake ID” specifically mine. Being a regular at whiskeys it became a good running joke for the evening, and definitely took the embarrassment away. I’m flattered, being 30.. but the extra mile was unnecessary. We’ve brought a lot of good, young business to zorbas, packed it out a lot before even. We definitely won’t be coming back, and will definitely be telling the community. It’s sad because the owner is very kind, and has previously went out of his way before to greet us in our previous experiences. Y’all get Dianna...

It was a little difficult to find this place, will definitely have to pay attention the first couple of times you visit it. But, the food and service is so great, that I can virtually guarantee that you'll be going there enough to drive there on autopilot. I believe they have the best prime rib sandwich I have ever had, and it can easily feed two people to be honest. I have no clue how the owner makes money, because the cost of the meat on that sandwich is almost equal to the cost of the phone they sell. I can't think of anything I've had there that I didn't like. Also, I would like to add that it's an amazing restaurant, and the reason I say it like that, is because the name "lounge" had me expecting something that required a membership and where people smoked inside, but nothing to worry about there. It's just an amazing family...

Great service & great drinks most def!! I Love the Bartenders there Diane/Diana(can't recall which is the correct name spelling"My Apologies";) & there's another sweet young lady by the name of "Kat" that also is good! Our fav is Diane bc we've dealt w her from our very first date we had over 2yrs ago:) Which was by far our fav & fav Beautiful Young lady bartender there still is:) Thank you 4 Our Fav first date on my bday bk 2yrs ago on July 16th 2019 & My bf's fav bday since we've been 2gether this past Dec. 10th 2021:)) Everything has ALWAYS been wonderful & just right on point at Zorba's!
