Iv worked in fast food as a manger for over 30 yrs and at one time was a manger at Gino's at this very location under then Dm Ray Burke so I understand things happen and Iv never Complained until now. I called my order in at 6:43pm they told me it would be 45 minutes so I waited for over a hour and still no food so when it I called again I was told it would be here anytime. One hour and 45minutes later still no food so when I called again to Cancel my order I talked to a young woman who didn't seem to care . So then I called back and asked to talk to the manager and to my Surprise it was the young woman I had just talked to so I asked to get a nr for her DM and was told that it was her family that owned it now . I wasn't looking for anything free but what I was looking for was a Sincere apology for my food and the service I received but got nether. I hope that this young womans family is proud of the way she treats her customers and I know that I'm just one customer but if she Treats others like I was then I'm sure you'll lose more customers than just myself. One thing I can say is if one of my employees even if they were family treated my customers that way they be look for a nother job or at the least they would not be part of my...
Read moreI live in Saint Albans and my wife and I both enjoy Ginos food. However, in the Saint albans area, our ginos is in a bad part of town and used to be awesome, regardless of the bad location. It is now so bad, that after we had our orders jacked up, uncooked, missing items, wrong toppings on pizzas, had our order handed out to people that had just placed a dine in order, etc....we won’t step foot in that location. the D street Ginos in South Charleston has ALWAYS been on point, even when I was a kid. I worked near here and also used to live in an apartment close by and it was convenient. Now that I’m back in Saint albans, I bypass THREE closer Ginos locations to come to this one. They are ALWAYS delicious, the employees are ALWAYS kind and courteous and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. If the Ginos close to me was even 1/2 the store this one is, I’d consider going back.... but they just don’t have the caliber of workers, management and overall customer service and food quality. Highly, highly recommend. They DO get busy sometimes.... but the very seldom, occasional wait...
Read moreThe service was very friendly and the restaurant appearance was nice. I ordered lasagna. When I got it I noticed how heavy it was before opening. It was a very nice size lasagna. I believe the weight was also due to a double layer of noodles in the middle. However, it was advertised to be "stuffed" with ricotta, mozzarella and provolone. I saw and tasted no ricotta at all (just happens to be my favorite part). There was definitely mozzarella and I can't say for sure about the provolone. I'm just disappointed that I couldn't see or taste my...
