Admittedly, I've been spoiled recently with a particular restaurant in Plano, TX - and this review reflects that; however not to the point of changing the star rating.

The food is actually pretty good - it's good Mexican cooking using the right ingredients (except for the roasted tomatoes in the fajitas, that seemed very odd), seasoning, combined with a familiar style I've experienced from a restaurant in Maryland.

The reason for the star reduction is because of their Margaritas and Bar Service. The Margaritas are weak, and pre-mixed. The pre-mixed Margaritas really are a shame, as the ratios are off, thus spoiling the entire batch. They refuse to make fresh Margaritas without an incredible up-charge.

We tried the Gold Rita, which wasn't terrible, but it was incredibly watered down, with a strange bitter, stifled after taste. Perhaps a different choice in Tequila is in order. I would recommend the Heradurra Repesado. After using a cleaner Tequila, there is then the problem of ratios. There was too much mix, and not enough Tequila (probably because they're trying to mask the cheap Tequila they are currently using). There are a few other alterations they can make to improve the drink as well, but considering the shortcuts already deployed, I question their interest.

The food here is great. The Margaritas leave much to be desired. If they were to improve their bar service and offer better drinks, this place would be the clear winner in the...

Beautiful inside. I like the estheticsl and the bathrooms were cool. Host was angry. Never seen someone throw down menus and cutlery so hard 😅 I watched him with others it was the same thing. The waiter came quick, listened, took our orders and made good suggestions. Unfortunately the shift switched and we got a new waitress. She gave us our check before we were ready. And then disappeared for like 20 minutes. Come to find out she was sitting a few seats behind us. We did not leave a tip. As far as the food it was good, fresh and the presentation was lovely just it was not spicy at all. When I go to to Mexican I kind of expect some zest but not here. If you like that then by all means this place is for you Also my chille rellenos look like it was a sweet green pepper. It didn't hit. It was disappointing. Yeah over all good just that and the host needs a hug. I...

I came here on my own one evening towards the tail end of dinner rush, but the place was still busy. I was definitely not made to feel very welcome here, as I was shunted off into a side area where nobody else was seated then, or at any time in the hour I was there (even though there were plenty of open tables near other people). The server stopped by a few times up through taking my order, and then I never saw him again, as someone else brought out the food. Nobody ever came by to see how my meal was or to bring the check - I had to go up to the front counter to inquire about my check. I think you can tell a lot about the quality of customer service by how a restaurant treats a solo diner vs. a party of 4 or 6. I don't give out low ratings lightly, but between the food that was okay but not great, and the very poor service, I have to...

This restaurant is near Holiday Inn express hotel & Fairfield Inn hotel just 2 block walking distance. The building looks nice with the decor and you must take a photo with the donkey. Place inside is spacious with nice decor. Salsa very good with the tortilla chips. Beans was kinda bland. Rice is ok and very small portion not happy .Taco presentation was very nice, combination plate w rice , beans and 3 tacos meat of your choice. I chose steak, carnitas, chorizo. Carnitas wasn’t good, more of a roasted pork instead of diced pork and it not cooked enough for me. The steak was good and the chorizo was great. The chorizo taco had good flavor and a hit of spicy. Overall it’s not top 5 but just a little above average and it’s good enough for me to come back and try a different dish. Yes I would recommend checking this place out.

Food was nothing special. I asked for no vegetables in my fajitas. Well, it was full of them. The rice looked pretty light in color so I would have guessed it was not good. But actually it was ok. Basket of chips was a small fry basket from a carnival or food truck type.. So I needed 2. The Sangria though... well I shouldn't say anything because i did get a good little buzz from the large which is not really go large but the fruit was can fruit cocktail fruit. I had to laugh. True WV sangria I'd say. See picture.

Love this place. I have been going there since they opened over 10 years ago and always stop in when we are back in WV.. Stopped in with my sister she had never been their before. They are always busy, but it is worth the wait. I love their fish tacos and their frozen margaritas, so of course, I had to have them when we stopped there. My sister had their steak chimichangas and loved them. We actually stopped in twice with other family members.
